Fall is around the corner and of course, there are plenty of new high-end makeup collections popping up for the Fall 2019 season with Fashion Week a few short weeks ahead. Here’s a few Fall 2019 Makeup picks from Marc Jacobs Beauty, Dior, Chanel and more that you might want to add to your beauty wish list!

Dior Diorshow Liquid Mono Eyeliner & Eyeshadow $30
I gotta admit I’m feeling the love for these new mono cream eyeshadows that double up as an eyeliner. The moody taupe shades are really putting me in the mood for sultry Fall looks! If they apply with more of a satiny matte finish I’ll be over the moon! These are on my wish list!

Marc Jacobs Beauty Glam Rock See-quins Glam Glitter Eyeshadow $28
If those Dior cream shadows aren’t doing it for you these new glitter shadows from Marc Jacobs might! Available in four shades these pressed pigments give maximum sparkle for bold Fall looks!

Dior Confident Rouge Blush $45
I’m loving all these intense shades that are popping up for Fall. This gorgeous plum blush should give cheeks a sophisticated pop of color!

Clarins Joli Blush $32
Speaking of blush…! Clarins has a new range of Joli Blush shades that promise “ultra pigmentation” and a smooth, featherlight texture!

Chanel Le Gel Pailete Transparent Shimmering Gel $50
It isn’t Christmas but Chanel is celebrating like it is with this gorgeous shimmering gel that catches the light and gives shoulders, decolletage, or face subtle kiss of luminosity!

Estee Lauder x Duro Olowu Eyeshadow Palette $39
Estee Lauder’s collaboration with fashion design, Duro Olowu, was more of a Summer launch but it’s falling into Fall looks as well! Two palettes launched but this colorful gold, pink, and plum one is my favorite! I love the sunset vibe of the shades and think I can do a great “fallen leaf” look with these shades!

Dior Glorif-Eye 5 Couleurs Eyeshadow Palette $63
Dior has two limited edition eyeshadow palettes for Fall looks but the Glorif-Eye one caught my eye! It seems like blues and golds are on trend for Fall looks and although, I can’t do a completely blue eye look (I look way too baggy and tired when I do) I do so love one combined with with other shades. This palette has all the moodiness of a rainy day and should give you a nice rocker look for Fall!

Chanel Rouge Allure Velvet Extreme $38
I’m still over mattes but we’ll let Chanel slip past since they have such velvety, silky matte lipsticks! The new Velvet Extreme in Rose Nocturne is a beautiful warm rose with a sophisticated matte finish perfect for Fall!

Estee Lauder Pure Color Envy Gloss Kissable Lip Shine $28
Not feeling the love for that Chanel matte? No worries Pure Color Envy Gloss now has a new lip shine formula available in a wide range of shades that provides sheer, luminous color and shine to lips!

Chanel Ombre Premiere Top Coat Eyeshadow Veil $36
Got a few mattes that need spicing up? This new cream shimmering top coat will add a shimmering veil when layered over eyeshadow to transforming any look from day to night or just to add that little hint of boldness to a boring matte!

Marc Jacobs Glam Rock Enamored Dazzling Gloss Lip Lacquer $28
Available in four shades Marc Jacobs new sparkling lipgloss didn’t really catch my eye until I read it gives lips the shine and glitz of 30 coats of lip lacquer. Say what now? One application and the shine and sparkle of 30 coats? Sign me up!

About the Muse

Isabella MuseIsabella is just an average everyday geeky girl who doesn’t blend her eyeshadow correctly, wears too much blush, and hopes she never finds her holy grail products because she likes the thrill of the chase so much. Her mission is to bring you super honest reviews on makeup, skincare, fragrance and all things beauty. She’s in no way an expert on the topic and she sure as hell isn’t a super model. But she’s passionate about makeup and is seeking like-minded individuals that like pina coladas, getting caught in the rain, and ones that enjoy spending hundreds of dollars at Sephora without feeling buyer’s remorse. I’m not blowing $63 on one eye shadow, but oh my gosh that blue in the Dior quintet is GORGEOUS.

Only some of the Chanel stuff has come to my neck of the woods. I was looking at the gel and wondering if it is for me.

Dior is expected next week. Some of the fall line looks nice. Hope it is decent quality. I usually pick up a couple of items from each collection. The blush looks good as does the eyeshadow palette.

Estee Lauder is hit and miss. When I got the GWP on Sunday, I talked to the sales associate and complained about the lack of stock of EL and other brands almost everywhere. I was informed that only 7 stores probably Canada-wide will carry the full range of EL products. One store in my city. Also some stock issues due to a fire in Germany last year – the factory or warehouse – and that has led to items not being available here.

I tend to go past Clarins in terms of makeup. Some of the skincare is good but colours – never really appeal to me. Hard to find staff at many makeup counters here.

I was going to blind buy it but decided to head to nordstrom for a look! Sadly, not in stock yet! The blush looks gorgeous not sure I can pull the shade off though! Interesting! I didn’t even know about the fire! Clarins is always grossly understaffed but I am a big fan of the line and tend to purchase it online ;-D don’t pass it up! the lipsticks and some of the color cosmetics are amazing ;D

I have noticed that there is a lot of unused space at many EL counters and that some of the displays were empty or otherwise shrinking in size with little product available, but didn’t know why. And why things were not available. May be just a Canadian Bay store thing. No nearby Nordstrom for me. The SA informed me about the fire – it happened late last year.

Maybe I will take a closer look at Clarins this fall. I also need to check my ‘I have enough makeup to last me five years’ stash and see what I am missing. The Dior palette with the purple intrigues me, but purple can give me an unpleasant allergic reaction (the red dye used).

INTERESTING! This is the first I heard of this! I honestly didn’t notice El’s counter being less than full! but I also feel like no one appreciates EL as much as they should which is why full shelves! LOL me too me too! It’s like do we really need more?! and I’m like OH YES I do lol! Oh no! That’s not good! :-/

The US may have a different distributor, so the stock may be there.

EL has good products and a lot of money to develop new ones. I have purchased and repurchased many items from the line. Good skincare, good lipsticks, decent blushes, Bronze Goddess, etc. The eyeshadows are a bit old-lady like (and speaking for my mature self) and nowhere near the current hyped stuff from other brands. Just not their thing. What is their thing is done well. I do miss the good old days of their beautiful powder collectible compacts

  • Deborah

Oh my, I love that Dior palette! So pretty! Blue for fall, who would think?! It is moody! Love the cool colors.

  • Karen

Thank goodness the matte lip trend is slowing down! Give me a nice satin any day!

Description of myself to a tee. Sephora is at the top of my shopping list everytime I’m in a city where one is available. I love fragrance and lipstick so much. It’s so great to have a place that carries a variety of brand names from luxury to reasonable.
