Makeup Revolution Conceal & Hydrate Concealer and Makeup Revolution Conceal & Hydrate Foundation launched today at Ulta.com and I’m first in line to purchase. My philosophy on makeup is if it isn’t broke don’t fix it. I am already a big fan of Conceal & Define Full Coverage Concealer! It’s cheap, it’s creamy, it’s pigmented, and it doesn’t creep into my finer lines. Do I need a more hydrating version? I mean, it’s already pretty cool just the way it is.

But considering the stellar reputation it has I think I could get on board with a new version so long as Makeup Revolution doesn’t screw up an already good thing. The new Makeup Revolution Conceal & Hydrate Concealer is a little more expensive at $12 compared to $7 for Conceal & Define Full Coverage Concealer. But it’s also a lot bigger at 0.45 oz compared to 0.11 oz.

As for for the formula…! It’s a hydrating blend that contains hyaluronic acid that they promise will “drench skin with moisture”. Ok, sounds good! My eyes are dry as hell they can use all the moisture the can get.

As for Conceal & Define Full Coverage Foundation it also gets a revamp with the new Conceal & Hydrate Foundation that also contains hyaluronic acid for smooth, even coverage that doesn’t cling to drier areas!

Needless to say I’ll be ordering both and sharing my thoughts soon! I enjoy both formulas at the moment in their original formulations so, I am curious if they could improve on something that’s already a great texture and formula.

Both Makeup Revolution Conceal & Hydrate Concealer and Foundation are available today!

About the Muse

Isabella MuseIsabella is just an average everyday geeky girl who doesn’t blend her eyeshadow correctly, wears too much blush, and hopes she never finds her holy grail products because she likes the thrill of the chase so much. Her mission is to bring you super honest reviews on makeup, skincare, fragrance and all things beauty. She’s in no way an expert on the topic and she sure as hell isn’t a super model. But she’s passionate about makeup and is seeking like-minded individuals that like pina coladas, getting caught in the rain, and ones that enjoy spending hundreds of dollars at Sephora without feeling buyer’s remorse. In on the concealer after ingredients check, but not the foundation. The original is likely my fave, and i’ve got every one known to man, except UHEs. Better than RCC, CFX, better than all of them. But I could use a bit more moisture. Thanks for the 411.
