Some New Foundations and Concealers to Try with Your Sephora Discount

Urban Decay sent me the new Stay Naked Correcting Concealer and I have to admit I was skeptical. I haven’t really met an Urban Decay concealer I love yet. It feels like they launched quite a few concealers in recent years but in reality it’s like three of them over the course of a five year period. But some reason or another it feels like Urban Decay has a new foundation and a new concealer constantly coming out.

When Stay Naked Correcting Concealer was announced I was “eh! meh!” I was actually delightfully surprised how much I loved the formula. Sadly, the shades are too light for me so, yesterday I ordered one on Sephora which I hope is a better match! I got 40NN which is a light-medium neutral with a neutral undertone but it was a bit too pasty! I ended up purchasing 40NY light-medium neutral with a golden undertone since I’m a bit tan at the moment. Maybe that’ll work better. Anyway, I’ll review the formula later today but it sure is lovely. Creamy, easy to blend, pigmented! If you’re shopping new concealers get it! I think you’ll like it!

Speaking of concealers! There’s a few new ones that popped up at Sephora this month as well as a variety of foundations. With Rouge getting 20% off their totals and VIBs enjoying 15% off now might be a good time to break in a new foundation with the discount (use code SUMMERSAVE to score the deal).

Here’s some that caught my eye!

Smashbox Studio Skin Full Coverage 24 Hour Foundation
All these new matte full-coverage foundations have caught my eye because many of them have really lightweight coverage that’s very breathable and creamy without being mask-like! Smashbox’s newest formula is an oil-free formula that promises weightless, pigmented coverage that isn’t drying!

Pat Mcgrath Skin Fetish: Sublime Perfection Foundation
Imagine most people headed right for the Sublime Perfection Foundation yesterday when the Rouge discount went live! Pat’s newest foundation has mixed reviews but none the less many of them raves! This long-wearing formula has medium, lightweight coverage with a built in serum that treats skin as you wear it!

Stila Hide & Chic Fluid Foundation
Most people don’t take note when Stila does a new foundation! I, however, do! There foundation has treated me well in the past so, I’m curious to try the new Hide & Chic. This is such a perfect formula for me as it provides weightless coverage with a natural finish that has medium color pay off. I do so love a good natural foundation!

Benefit Boi-ing Cakeless Concealer
Word on the stress says that Benefit’s newest concealer is a win! Full coverage that looks natural? Sign me up! Not interested in the full-size version? Try a mini one one which will set you back $7 to $8 bucks after your discount!

Kevyn Aucoin Foundation Balm
Kevyn Aucoin’s newest foundation is selling out fast! This new creamy balm comes with a brush to apply! It promises long-wearing full coverage!

Urban Decay Stay Naked Weightless Foundation
If UD’s new foundation is as good as the concealer I guess we’re all in for a treat! This medium-coverage liquid foundation has a real skin matte finish that isn’t drying!

Fenty Pro Filt’r Hydrating Longwear Foundation
Dry skin? Fenty’s newest foundation is a long-wearing formula that’s hydrating for drier skin and provides a natural finish for all day wear!

Milk Makeup Flex Foundation Stick
I used to be a huge foundation stick fan! Wait, scratch that! I still am! I do so live swiping, blending, and just going! This new Flex Stick from Milk provides medium coverage and a natural finish!

Urban Decay Stay Naked Correcting Concealer
And the star of show! UD’s new concealer that’s ultra-pigmented, lightweight concealer and provides full coverage in a soft, demi-matte finish!

Are you making any new foundation or concealer purchases this week?

So many new releases! It’s insane this year! I tried the Pat, thought I would love it, but I don’t love it at all. It’s lightweight, but meh, it just doesn’t look good on me. It looks pretty radiant and beautiful without powdering, but it definitely needs powdering, which ends up making it so matte on me.

I’m waiting on the Guerlain to arrive because that looks so good on everyone I’ve seen it on. Crossing my fingers it’ll work for me. I just want a lightweight, radiant, but not dewy or oily foundation.

i hate matte. I just want a natural looking foundation that isn’t heavy and still manages to make my skin look flawless and bright without needing powder to make it stick around! :-/ I def don’t want dewy but I also get scared of radiant as I always feel like that translates to glow and glitter!

I just so happened to buy the UD Stay Naked foundation and concealer with the Rouge discount! My all-time HG foundation is Fenty profiltr but in this summer heat it’s a bit heavy and unnecessary for everyday so I was looking at a lighter foundation. I chuckled at 40NN being too pasty for you because I had to get 20NN hahahahaha! Girl you don’t know pasty 😉

I also got some skincare too, Dermalogica’s new AGE bright acne serum & spot fader.

Let me know whatcha think of the concealer so far I like it ;-D Aw hell I wish I was your skin tone! I’m sort of a medium light but I tan easily and I do so hate it. I’d rather just be a vampire thanks so much ;-D

63 in a couple of days and hate foundation. But I love reading your reviews.
Using Clinique CC cream which helps hide redness. For glow just on cheeks I am using Loreal Lumi glowtion. Adds just a hint of youthful glow without looking sparkly.
