Clinique Cool Down Cheek Pop Palette Brings a Refreshing Shade Selection To Your Cheeks

I receive a small commission if you shop through my link.

Clinique Cheek Pop Palette in Cool Down ($29.50) arrives today and it’s quite different from past Cheek Pop Palettes we’ve seen isn’t it? Those of you who have been yelling at the makeup industry for cooler shades can rejoice in this palette that contains three cooler blush shades.

Shades: Ballerina Pop, Pansy Pop, Heather Pop

The shades arrive in a glittery compact which is a refreshing take on Clinique’s standard compacts. Clinique has definitely let loose in recent years and become a heck of a lot more fun hasn’t she?

Sadly, these shades won’t work for me but I know a lot of people who will adore this one.

About the Muse

Isabella MuseIsabella is just an average everyday geeky girl who doesn’t blend her eyeshadow correctly, wears too much blush, and hopes she never finds her holy grail products because she likes the thrill of the chase so much. Her mission is to bring you super honest reviews on makeup, skincare, fragrance and all things beauty. She’s in no way an expert on the topic and she sure as hell isn’t a super model. But she’s passionate about makeup and is seeking like-minded individuals that like pina coladas, getting caught in the rain, and ones that enjoy spending hundreds of dollars at Sephora without feeling buyer’s remorse. I need this! I don’t have many blushes, I need cooler-toned items, and it’s a great price. The trifecta!

  • Carmen

Part of me wants to pick this up, but the other part of me knows these aren’t my shades so it’s going to be a pass. I will say that the Cheek Pop formula is AMAZING. I have two shades and I was never into wearing blush before I discovered them. Anyone who picks this up that like to wear these shades/these shades will look good on are going to enjoy them.

I couldn’t agree more the pop formula is a fav of mine! They are so great ;-D

  • Agona

Ooo!! I’ve been wanting to try their cheek pops forever. I totally love cool shades. I think I’m going to haul this.

  • K

Why don’t you think the shades will work for you? Pansy pop has got to my favorite blush shade of all time, it is stunning! I think pansy pop would look amazing on you, it really isn’t as bright as you’d think. Paired with a taupe eye and mauve lip, is my favorite look of recent. I may pick up this palette!

really? I’m not sure! I always feel like I look bad in purple/lilac blushes! πŸ˜€ thanks for the vote of confidence! Maybe I do need it hehehe πŸ˜€

      • K

You do need it! I am an attorney and wear pansy pop to court every other day. It is my favorite blush of all time and already ordered this palette so I can have two!

  • Jana

Sold! I am very cool toned, and even most “neutral” shades look to warm on me. I don’t have many blushes (and most of the ones I do have are drugstore), and I have been wanting to try this formula forever. I am absolutely picking this up!

  • Ema

Hello, do you have any idea if this palette would be available in Europe or in France? πŸ™‚
I need it but can’t find any information. I just know that it is exclusive to Sephora US and it does not ship to France unfortunately πŸ™ Thanks.

    • Isabella Muse

I’m sorry Ema I wish I knew! Right now I only know that it is LE and exclusive to Sephora. I’ll reach out to Clinique and ask! If they reply I’ll post back!

    • EMA

Thank you so much for replying. I look forward to hearing from you soon.
      Thanks again. I appreciate it.

  • Mariele

Ah… I’m definitely cool toned/neutral at my absolute warmest, but purple? No thanks. πŸ™ Could’ve used a deeper wine instead.

it was in store today but it looks like they haven’t yet released online! I’m assuming either tomorrow or Monday it will go live!
