Happy Monday!

Is it feeling a little Fall around your part of the world today? It’s not quite there yet in New York. It’s actually warm today and has been the last two weeks. As in warm enough for AC so, yeah, Fall isn’t quite ready to show itself yet.

But people, I’ve been in Fall mode since late August. All my Fall decor is out (my Halloween stuff goes up October 1st), my wardrobe is Fall-ready, and I’ve had several pumpkin spice frapps to toast the season.

Welcome to Fall! Happy Pumpkin Spice Season! If it’s your season too jump ahead for a few picks you’ll need to enjoy the season ahead.

If you know anything about me you know I was born in the Fall and you know I love the season. Maybe I’m basic, maybe I’m just a Fall baby but I love this season. So, to express my love for the season I grabbed up this print from Kirkland’s (get 25% off using promo code OPENHOUSE)! It says simply and beautifully, “But I think I Love Fall Most of All”! Very fitting. I have it hanging in my mudroom so every time I come home or go out it can make me smile. Sadly, Kirkland’s rarely does free shipping so I recommend shipping it to a local store as it’s free to pick up!

Ok, so it’s not really Pumpkin Spice but my mood has been Halloween since August and this T-Shirt ($10 at Old Navy) pretty much sums up that frame of mind perfectly.

Did I every tell you that growing up when my dad used to ask me what I wanted to be when I grow up the answer was always “AN ARTIST” from the time I could talk until late high school (in Senior Year a great teacher convinced me my true calling was computers which was actual my college major but I actually work in insurance! Life has a way of tricking you up doesn’t it?). The only problem was I sucked at art! I can’t draw a stick figure! But I do like adult coloring books! Do I have an adult coloring book fans in the audience? You might need the Pumpkin Spice and Everything Nice Coloring Book ($8) to while away those brisk autumn nights.

Oh! You know what? You need some good pjs to snuggle down in as you color with your new coloring book! These Pumpkin Spice Life ones from Torrid are just the ticket!

You know what? Lizzo took that DNA test and she’s 100% that bitch but me? I’m 100% that witch! The 4th Sanderson Sister! Speaking of our besties, the Sanderson Sisters, I’d say my Monday is best described as running around in circles yelling AMUCK! AMUCK! AMUCK!

September is actually when I crack out the Hocus Pocus goods. I legit have a viewing party every year on the 3rd Sunday in the month of September because I’m blessed with other basics in my life that love the film as much as I do. And yes, we do know the spells by heart. This shirt is a must for my Hocus Pocus fans out there!

Speaking of all good things Hocus Pocus I love Wander and Waypost! She’s an amazing artist that does some fantastic quote prints. She has a slew of Hocus Pocus prints that are so beautiful after they are framed. I have a few hanging over my fireplace mantel at the moment to celebrate the season!

But back to Pumpkin Spice all the things….!

Glade’s popular Toasty Pumpkin Spice fragrance is back! It’s yummy and it’ll make you house smell amazing! Available in room spray, candle, plugins and more this is a nice way to get that pumpkin spice scent all around your house!

Speaking of home fragrance have you tried Homeworx yet? Harry Slakin used to make candles for Bath & Body Works and now he has his own line of incredible candles. They were available exclusively at QVC but now Ulta carries them and they are priced at 2 for $40! Seems too much? They aren’t! They are 18 oz which is twice the size of a Bath & Body Works Candle! The scents are strong and linger long! Try out Spiced Vanilla Pumpkin to get you in that pumpkin spice mood!

I don’t like the taste of pumpkin spice but I heard they could kick you our of the basic club if you don’t eat and drink it. Which isn’t hard because EVERYTHING is flavored like pumpkin spice at the moment. From ravioli (Trader Joe got you) to pretzels. I guess I could do Pumpkin Spice Pretzels. How bad could they be?

Pretty sure like most people around this type of the year My Blood Type Is Pumpkin Spice and this t-shirt proves it!

Wanna smell like pumpkin spice? Who doesn’t? I mean pumpkin spice is such a warm, comforting scent! Dr Sweet Tooth has you covered. Their roll-on pumpkin spice perfume is a warm, comforting blend!

Ulta also has a Pumpkin Spice Fragrance Body Mist and Body Lotion to keep you smelling like Fall all through the season!

And don’t forget The Body Shop’s delightful Vanilla Pumpkin Body Butter is back this year!

Did ya know pumpkin is great for your skin? Feel the burn from Peter Thomas Roth Pumpkin Enzyme Mask Enzymatic Dermal Resurfacer! I swear this stuff makes my skin look as smooth as silk but man, it tingles like crazy! User beware!

Love it! A girl after my own ❤️. I have a fall bday too and love the season! Fall decor has been up since the day after Labor Day and I had two Pumpkin Spice Lattes last week even tho our temps have been in the 80s and 90s. Pumpkin everything is everywhere and it makes me very happy.

Ha! Likewise on Fall decor ;-D I put it up first day of September ;-D I hope for a long, drawn out Fall season ;-D It always goes by so damn fast!

Omg, those Harrys came from Ulta ultra fast…and by ‘independent delivery’ service, not UPS. (Aside: i’ve had pretty poor luck with the independents, so that might bode ill.). It was my 2 job day, so I lit up Autumn Days. Bring. It. On. They are gorgeous, as well as grand smelling. Re: art. I was the only person in the advanced divisions in jr high to be thrown out of art. I adore art history, so was a fine arts major, until I realized that I would have to take studio art. Changed to psych lickety split. Fast forward~40 years. I got an adult coloring book and slaved over one page. I thought it came out pretty good. Dachshund Jussi clearly did not agree with me. He shredded it. I guess he agrees with the junior high recommendations.

fantastic 🙂 I’m glad you enjoyed! They really are fabulous candles! LOL thrown out why?!

Because I sucked at it beyond belief. Can’t draw a straight line with a ruler. Since it was seventh grade, I was probably too chatty and social/inattentive, as well. My mum had said I could get a painting book, when I learned to color within the lines. Never got one, until college anyway, when I was away from home and had my own $. I got Beatrix Potter to do in watercolors.

LMAO! me either don’t feel bad! I suck at art but I still have dreams I’ll be an artist one day ;-D my next life maybe!

  • Diana

My blood type is anything fall this was awesome thank you! I want to try Harry’s candles, wasn’t sure if the scents were strong. I love a true pumpkin or crisp apple not a watered down or perfumey candle. My niece used to be terrified of the hocus pocus witches, she still won’t watch it with me. Guess she wouldn’t want the sweatshirt lol

    • Isabella Muse

lol! mine too! ;-D They are very strong. 18 oz, three wick, the burn is amazing! They linger in the air well after you put them out! LOL oh no! that’s so sad! ;-D

Love all these things! I also really love Trader’s Pumpkin Body Butter. It’s delightful.

I have the PTR Pumpkin Wnzyme mask. I was going to use it or Kate Somerville Exfolikate tonight. I used Exfolikate. They both have the pumpkin enzyme and give that kind of burning sensation I love them both.
