Madonna Loves Too Faced I Rise and Medellin Kits Are Now Available

As you know the Madonna Loves Too Faced I Rise and Medellin Kits were recently available at Madonna’s pop-up shop in Manhattan and also, they reported as being available at her tour venues but of course, as I predicted they have now launched online at toofaced.com! I just didn’t expect them to be available THIS SOON.

Each set is a whooping $75 each which I find grossly overpriced for Too Faced especially since they contain Melted Matte Lipsticks that have been on sale numerous times for $10! Come on. I also don’t really feel the collection is unique or special enough. It’s Madonna FFS doesn’t that mean it has to be divine-like before it launches?

Here’s the low down on each set!

Madonna Loves Too Faced I Rise $75
Includes:
Eyeshadow and Cheek Palette
Melted Matte Liquid Lipstick in Sell Out
Chocolate Brow-nie Cocoa Powder Brow Pencil
Better than Sex Mascara

Madonna Loves Too Faced Medellin $75
Eyeshadow and Highlighter Palette
Melted Matte Liquid Lipstick in Ladyballs
Better Than Sex Liquid Eyeliner
Damn Girl! Mascara

Why am I feeling like these will end up on the sale rack soon at this price?

But hey if you want them the Madonna Loves Too Faced Makeup Kits are here now and available!

About the Muse

Isabella MuseIsabella is just an average everyday geeky girl who doesn’t blend her eyeshadow correctly, wears too much blush, and hopes she never finds her holy grail products because she likes the thrill of the chase so much. Her mission is to bring you super honest reviews on makeup, skincare, fragrance and all things beauty. She’s in no way an expert on the topic and she sure as hell isn’t a super model. But she’s passionate about makeup and is seeking like-minded individuals that like pina coladas, getting caught in the rain, and ones that enjoy spending hundreds of dollars at Sephora without feeling buyer’s remorse. Ok I love Madonna, probably more than most, but come on, 75$? Maybe in 1984, but…ahem. I will maybe buy one in the sale bin. They aren’t that fantastic at first look.

  • Lauren

Wow, that is waaaaaay too much money for what you get. She must have demanded a huge percentage of the profits.

    And smoking on the cover?

Yeah, I’ll be surprised if these sell well. I was interested, but now I’m not.

Unless i’m way off base, the smoking one is an homage to Marlene Dietrich, especially in the classic film, The Blue Angel. MD was often depicted smoking, and smoking had not been villified in those days. Remember that some advertisements had Drs recommending cigarettes for the soldiers coming home from WWII. It was a totally different era. I see the cover art as channeling a different time/culture, not that that’s good. But how about calling it Medellin, home of the world’s most infamous drug cartel? The whole thing is questionable at best. How do these shades build anyone’s collection, when they are duped in everyone’s stash? I had no idea the MSRP was so astronomical! I say, direct to Rack.

Yuck…what a mess. These collections are so phoned in, cheap looking, and way overpriced. Even if I was a Too Faced super fan there’s no way I’d pay $75 for that junk. I’ve lost all respect for this company…they’re producing nothing but cheap dollar store tackiness. I’ll take my $75 and use it to buy the gorgeous, luxe CT holiday eye shadow palette.

  • Jean

Just because she is a celebrity, they jacked up the price to 75.00. How ridiculous. Kind of turns me off of Too Faced. As if Madonna and TF are hurting for cash. Well so am I.

  • Liz

Are the other products like the lipstick and mascara full size or sample? If full that might help with some of the price shock. I’m still not interested though.

  • genevieve

How expensive are these for shades that are fairly popular and live in most eye palettes?

  • Ashley

How do u know it’s not going to one of her orphanages in Malawi? That’s why I hate celebrity endorsed things, it usually involves them getting richer, if it has their name on it. Pass. As much as I love Madonna, $75 is tough to swallow.

there was no mention of a donation in the marketing on the website. That would be nice if it was but I think they would have mentioned “a portion of the proceeds goes to…”
