Milani Temptation Amore Shine Liquid Lip Color is a permanent shiny liquid lipstick that I picked up a few weeks ago when Milani started marking down this formula. I have no idea if they have plans to discontinue this line! I sure hope that isn’t the case but these have been marked down to $6.74 for a while now which is cause for concern (if you hunt around for 20% off your total coupon codes to make the price even lower).
These haven’t gotten on sale anywhere else but the fact Milani has them on permanent sale makes me think they might be getting rid of them at some point. The reason I hauled the shade out was because I’ve been rotating my makeup lately for Fall. I’m sort of obsessed with darker shades lately for the cooler weather. Not vampy dark but more like darker browns and red browns. According to Milani Temptation is a deep terracotta. I disagree. It feels more like a deep chocolate rose. It’s a pretty great shade if you do want an alternative to the vampy darker cherry red lip that’s so popular every Fall.
As you know I do so hate matte lip anything! It’s nice having a liquid lip color that’s provides full color in a creamy, long-wearing formula that isn’t matte!
This formula is fairly thick and creamy and applies very smooth without any fragrance nor flavor. It’s a little tacky and heavier but not uncomfortable and has a bit of shine initially loses some of that shine factor deeper into the wear. It feels quite moisturizing and gives my lips a nice fuller look without migrating or moving for five hours.
The shade is what I really wanted to feature though as I’ve already reviewed this formula in a prior post. The color is just gorgeous and perfect for fall looks. If you’re currently shopping some new Fall lip looks I’d highly recommend checking this out at your local drugstore.
