    I bought this mascara based on your recommendation. I absolutely loved it the first month and thought I had found my HG mascara, but then it started drying out and clumping badly. I had to throw it out after a month and a half because it was unsuable. Is this normal for you or did I get a dud?

      sounds like a dud Brandy! Sorry to hear that happened to you! Question, did you get it during a sale? 21 days? Or during a Tarte sale? or from a secondary seller? I’m wondering if it was close to expiration! That’s never happened to me with it before tbh!

      That’s odd, I’ve found the opposite, this is one of those mascaras that needs to dry out a little, so it doesn’t work well until a couple weeks after opening. I’ve used it for months without issue. Maybe yours didn’t get closed all the way and dried out too much?

    I bought it full price at Sephora in JC Penney. I’d love to try it again since it worked so well when I first got it. I just couldn’t deal with the flakes falling into my eyes after a month and a half.

      oh no that’s awful! I really never had that happen to me. maybe you got an old one! honestly, with JC Penny Sephora’s ya never know bc they don’t have the foot traffic that a regular stand alone store does! I’m really sorry it didn’t work out :-/

        It wouldn’t surprise me if it was old stock. Everything in that store was either out of stock or dirty/dusty. I’ll just buy things at my Ulta from now on since this isn’t the first time I’ve had issues with their product.

          I’ve been to several JC Penny at Sephora stores and all of them have zero foot traffic. I don’t understand why Sephora inked that deal. It was a weird one to me! I’ve honestly never had an issue so I was surprised you did. Hopefully the next tube you try will be better ;-D Update when/if you do try it again! I’d be curious to see if it works out better for ya <3!
