A Few Beauty Picks at Walmart

Hello friends!

Have you been hanging out at Walmart lately? I have and I’ve taken on the world of Earth to Skin by storm! Have you tried any of it yet? I’m currently in love with the Earth to Skin Super Fruits Avocado Overnight Mask! I have a review upcoming on it shortly. I think it’s going to be a perfect pick for my dry skin in the Winter.

I picked up a few new beauty picks at Walmart recently and I’m teaming up with them one final to time to celebrate their “Here for Every Beauty” campaign that celebrates over 327 different million faces that make up America. Walmart’s aim is to create an beauty environment in stores that caters and carries a wide range of products for all types of people no matter their hair type, skin color, or sex. Their stance on inclusivity is one I strongly believe in and relate to. I’m no model but I’ve been blogging beauty for 10 plus years and sharing it with a wide range of different people from many different walks of life because I am ever a believer that makeup and beauty is for everyone no matter who you are. This is a paid sponsorship however, all the products mentioned here are ones I choose myself and any opinions I express are my own.

Jump ahead and let’s see what beauty picks I recently grabbed at Walmart!

So, currently I’m in love with all this Earth to Skin Skincare! The best part is the price as it’s all under $10! They have these great Starter Sets that are $9.98 each which include a few different products to try out! I picked up the Earth to Skin Honey Manuka Starter Set which includes a night and day cream as well as an eye cream and cleanser. I also picked up the Earth to Skin Honey Manuka Calming Face Toner ($6.69) which is a lightweight essence created with drier skin in mind. Oddly, they say you can apply this with a cotton pad but I think it’s thick enough to pour it into your hands and pat it gently on your face. I’ll have a deeper review on it after trying it out a little more! Stay tuned!

And finally my favorite product! Earth to Skin Super Fruits Avocado Overnight Mask which is a mere $6.96 for a huge tube of moisturizing goodness. Apply this rich, hydrating mask after your skincare at night, head to bed, and wake up with smooth, hydrated skin in the AM. This one is a love and oh so affordable!

Of course, no trip to Walmart is complete without some new makeup! At the moment, I’m on a kick to try out new concealers and re-try ones I didn’t really love my first go around. My search lead me to Revlon ColorStay Full Coverage Long Wearing Concealer that I’m trying which I didn’t love my first go around with but I decided to give a second chance to. I swear I am so determined to find the best drugstore concealer on the market! It must be out there! I also picked up a different shade of Revlon PhotoReady Candid Antioxidant Concealer. I’ve been meaning to try it but didn’t get around to it! I’ll keep you posted how I do with these!

I also picked up some of the new Physicians Formula Organic Wear items! Physicians Formula Organic Wear Nourishing Lipstick was first of my list of items to pick up because I have great success with PF’s lipsticks and I was right! This is a moist, creamy formula! Next up I grabbed the Physicians Formula Organic Wear Dewy Blush Elixir. I was excited about this but I’m still on the fence because it might but a tiny bit too dewy for me! But I’m still in the beginning stages of my testing! I also picked up Physicians Formula Organic Wear Silk Foundation Elixir as I do love a nice serum-like foundation since they tend to look so natural on my skin. This is a nice lightweight liquid texture that blends very easily! It actually has a lot more coverage than I thought it would!

I’ve seen these kits at WalMart and kept waffling on picking one up, but now Imma have to try the Honey one. I had it in my hands a couple weeks ago, and put it back…. now I’m wishing I hadn’t! 😀

hey Muse, have you seen a line there called Cleen? I just spotted it last night, but didn’t have time to really investigate it… cheap as chips also, and seems like they had quite a variety of products!!

    • Isabella Muse

I like what I tried so far! Be I’ll have deeper reviews soon ;-D for the price you can’t beat the starter kit just to get a feel. I haven’t! is that at walmart too?

      • kimkats

yeah, they had it on an endcap – first time I’d seen it, so was kind of intrigued!! Now Ineed to find some excuse to stop there onna way home… 🙂

Kish, lovely reader above commenting, was the one that turned me on to it! Try the mask if you can! It’s great!

Ooh I have been wanting to try the dewy blush and foundation. Looking forward to your review. Did you see the Ultimate Murumuru Butter Collection? It was on sale for $23.99 the other day on Physician’s website and I am kicking myself for not picking it up. I just didn’t think I needed all the bronzers, all the lip creams, all the highlighters etc in one package but now I wish I had just for the curiousity factor. I am anxiously waiting for my Tati Beauty palette to arrive. That was my last purchase. Did you indulge?

    • Isabella Muse

Is that the one that was on target too with the fragrance/body lotion blush/eyeshadow, etc..? If so that’s on Target.com right now! I DID! I was turned off by the packaging tbh as I did expect something a little fancier but the colors look fantastic! I just hope the glitters are eye safe if they aren’t I’m going to cry 🙁 Mine shipped already! Did yours?

      • Felicia

Actually I’ve only seen it on the physicians website and Amazon. It has 8 bronzers, 6 blushers, 6 highlighters I think, looks like 12 lip creams and like 24 eyeshadows all in one big folding book. I think it might be the entire murumuru butter line with the exception of maybe the brand new rose highlighters. But that Target one is calling my name now so thanks for that. Lol. My palette just shipped yesterday and I’m super excited. I hope the the glitters are eye safe as well although I really can’t imagine tati making a glitter that isn’t eye safe but then again it’s not really her making it right, it’s seed beauty.

    Hi-
Beauddiction on YouTube did a detailed overview of the Earth to Skin line a few weeks ago. She really liked the Manuka honey products. Thanks, Muse, for all you do to keep us up to date and finding great bargains!

    • Isabella Muse

I have to check that out after I’m done testing and writing my reviews ;-D Aw my pleasure Ruth! <3!

  • Kish

Oh I can’t wait to see what you think about the foundation and cream blush!! And I’m glad you like some of the Earth To Skin stuff, I was hoping you would! 🙂

    • Isabella Muse

It’s all your fault! ;-D haha! After you said the mask was so good I had to try it! I like it! A lot! Foundation is working out nicely so far but I’m between shades so I purchased two different colors to mix! Blush I’m not sure on yet! The packaging seems faulty 🙁 and it’s a bit dewy! Maybe Summer would be better? ;D I’m still testing though!

      • Wendy Sue

Yeah, thanks Kish LOL I bought one of each kit plus the watermelon serum. I’ve tried the super fruits so far, and I’m loving it. I haven’t tried the others yet. But for the price, it can’t be beat!!

I really like Walmart’s philosophy on makeup. I wish we could live in a world where that philosophy was the norm and not the exception?

  • Brandy

I just bought the Earth to Skin Honey and Tea Time starter kits. I have sensitive skin so I wanted to try both to see which one works better. I also bought full sizes of the watermelon serum, avocado mask, and tea time toner. I’m excited to try these products out! Thanks for bringing up cheaper skin care products to try for those of us on a budget, Muse!
