Revlon Skinlights Prismatic Highlighter & Bronzers for Fall 2019

I was just complaining about the lack of new drugstore makeup and in step Revlon Skinlights Prismatic Highlighter and Skinlights Prismatic Highlighter Bronzer. I spotted these at a recent trip to Harmon’s but didn’t pick them up and I’m experiencing a tiny case of FOMO as the highlighters looked rather nice. They are $11.99 each and available in two shades each. I’m not for contouring but the darker shade of bronzer looks great for contouring as the surface has a very smooth appearance which leads me to believe application won’t be dusty or powdery resulting in a nice seamless finish on your contour work. Likewise for the highlighters they have a smooth, baked surface that’s gel-like. According to the promo they give glow but not sparkle or glitter. I thought at $12 each they were a bit expensive and I imagine once they reach retailers like Walgreens and CVS you’ll be looking at around $13.49 retail. I’m always amazing how high the cost of drugstore makeup has gone but the formulas lately do justify the higher cost I guess!

Revlon Skinlights Prismatic Highlighter and Skinlights Prismatic Highlighter Bronzer haven’t hit online retailers yet but I’m sure we’ll see them soon. As of now you can snag these ate Harmons.

I sort of regret not purchasing them but I don’t think I’d use them! I love my Becca Highlighters but anything else isn’t very appealing!

What do you think of the new Revlon Skinlights Prismatic Highlighter and Bronzers?

Isabella MuseIsabella is just an average everyday geeky girl who doesn’t blend her eyeshadow correctly, wears too much blush, and hopes she never finds her holy grail products because she likes the thrill of the chase so much. Her mission is to bring you super honest reviews on makeup, skincare, fragrance and all things beauty. She’s in no way an expert on the topic and she sure as hell isn’t a super model. About 10 years ado, Revlon had a whole line of SkinLights makeup. They were setting the pace for the luminous skin trend that really took off later. I was sad to see it go because they had some great products – maybe this means they’ll re-introduce it.
