RMS Beauty “Un” Cover-Up Cream Foundation for Fall 2019

RMS Beauty “Un” Cover-Up Cream Foundation just launched and for those in the know this a retake on their very popular “Un” Cover-Up Concealer. I happen to love cream foundations like this! Anything in a pot has an ewww factor attached to it but for some reason I find cream foundations in a pot appealing. Maybe because I like to dab some on my hand and swirl on my brush in it and buff it on. Potted foundation always seem to have a thicker, creamier formula that buffs on so well.

The new “Un” Cover-Up Cream Foundation has the same qualities as the original formula and provides full but natural coverage and can be used by any skin type. It contains Coconut and Burita oils to keep skin well hydrated.

They launched the formula in 16 shades same as the original formula. I’m curious how they can improve upon the original formula though as it was always one that multitasked as both concealer and a foundation. The price is $52 for 1 oz where as the original formula was $36 for 0.20 oz. Honestly, if this is the same exact texture and coverage I’d probably just stick with the original but the remains to be seen perhaps “Un” Cover-Up Cream Foundation brings something entirely new to the table. I do like that they say it mimics your natural skin for a smooth, flawless finish! That sounds very appealing!

That being said comparing the ingredients you’ll note that the foundation has a little bit more of a complex blend.

    Hi,

The new RMS foundation is 1 oz. for $52, not .20 oz. Also, I know you are a busy girl (and who isn’t these days), but you really should use spell check and/or grammarly when you write your reviews, etc. It presents a more polished read for your readers. Maybe you can have someone proofread and fix any errors in spelling and grammar before you send your items on for posting. I hope you don’t take offense with this. I’ve been a transcriptionist for over 30 years and these errors tend to jump out at me while reading (its not just you but many bloggers have this as well). Thank you for all your hard work in putting out the newest beauty products for us to read about.

Sorry Lana you’re right sometimes I get busy but that’s no excuse. I don’t really have anyone that can proof read for me at the moment. I’m typically up at 4:30am just to get posts scheduled for the day so sometimes I’m a little blurry ;-D Thanks for your feedback and I’ll do my best!

    Hi there!

I picked up the new foundation a few weeks ago and the formula is completely different than the original un-coverup. This new formula is actually much thicker and takes sometime to play around with it and work it in to the skin. But if you ad an oil and make it as thin as possible and apply it, then it actually looks great on the skin! Hope this helps! Its more of a radian natural finish.

I am so happy to hear that. I was concerned they’d just slap a new name on it. Thanks it does! I’m quite curious to try it!

Hey Muse, you’re doing a great job. Maybe I’m just speaking for myself, but I don’t notice or care about any grammar or spelling issues. Your blog is the first thing I check when I wake up in the morning (after my email). I never miss a post!

And I would love to try RMS products but I wish they didn’t contain so much coconut oil! It makes me break out.

Aw thanks Annie! I appreciate that so so so much <3! Sometimes I def make errors and I am sorry about that but thanks for not taking notice ;-D OMG me too! I was concerned about that because coconut oil doesn't agree with me either! It makes me itchy! Sometimes it's fine, sometimes not so great!
