Tweezerman Dry Face Brush Revealing Radiant Skin on the Cheap

Tweezerman Dry Face Brush launched at Ulta for $14 and I’m curious to try it and see how it compares to the Aveeda Tulasāra Radiant Facial Dry Brush I currently use which is $44! Hey, I’m all about something cheaper 🙂

I’ve been dry brushing since purchasing the Aveda Tulasara Radiant Awakening Ritual a few years ago. One of the best and cheapest way to exfoliate your face is with a towel but if you have a few bucks to spare you might want to indulge in the Tweezerman Dry Face Brush as it might just be as good as Aveda.

The idea of a dry brush is to whisk away dry, flaky skin. I’m hear to say it actually works. Dry brushing is actually a really effective way to reveal smoother skin easily. You simply swipe the brush across your face gently. I typically do it for 5 to 10 minutes when watching TV. I’ve been known to add a little bit of facial oil to the brush or to my face which allows to brush to move more easily across my face. If you’re prone to redness or sensitive skin I don’t recommend dry brushing but if you have flaky areas and drier skin it should work great! Just remember not to over exfoliate as that can lead to your face feeling tight. I typically dry brush twice a week. If you can believe it dry brushing actually works better than physical exfoliating for me!

I’m eager to see how the Tweezerman Dry Face Brush holds up against my favorite Aveda one!

Tweezerman Dry Face Brush is available now at Ulta.

I feel like this would irritate my sensitive skin so badly, but I want to try! LOL! Clarisonic, even on it’s gentlest settings and brushes pretty much left me raw every time. Is this gentler?

I haven’t tried this one so not sure on the bristles ;-D the Aveeda one I have is quite soft but it is equivalent to Clarisonic’s bristles so might not be for you my love!

oh i love the whole ‘exfoliating with a towel’ thing. I’m glad to see that you do that as well! I do it right when I am done with my shower while my face is wet and warm from the shower. Works so well at just removing that really pesky leftover foundation and dirt that gets deep into the pores that regular makeup cleansers just cant seem to remove!

I do that too!!!! ;-D When my face is all damp and hot from a shower it’s the perfect time to take a warm, wet wash cloth and gently move it around my face ;-D
