Bath & Body Works Bright Lemon Snowdrop Brings Hello Sugar Vibrations

5 stars out of 5

Bath & Body Works Bright Lemon Snowdrop is one of the new, limited edition Sweet Shop Fragrances available for Holiday 2019. I hauled all the fragrance mists last week when they had a sale for $4.95 and I had a coupon plus a buy 3, get 3 sale option so I also got the body lotions as well. Today both the Fine Fragrance Mists and the Body Lotions are $6 so, if these interest you today might be a good day to haul them.

I kind of sort of quick on Bath & Body Works because of two reasons one of which is the fact the scents are so damn repetitive. Everything smells the same lately! And the second reason, which is actually the most important one, is the fact that the fragrances are really, really weak on me. But I get drawn in from time to time and I can’t so no to gourmands and that’s what the Sweet Shop scents are all about so, here I am, the proud owner of all of them!

As I said above scents can be repetitive but sometimes, just sometimes, that’s a good thing. In the case of Bath & Body Works Bright Lemon Snowdrop it’s a good thing, a very good thing! If you’re an old fan of Bath & Body Works you might remember a little scent called Hello Sugar! Hello Sugar was sort of the last big hooray of the Temptations line. It wasn’t quite part of the Temptation but it was also the end of a really good time at Bath & Body Works in my humble opinion. At the time the Temptations were being phased out but suddenly Hello Sugar had popped up! After that time we never did get anything like it although there was some sort of weak attempt when Bath & Body Works created the Pumpkin Pecan Waffles 3-in-1 Shower Gel!

I’m mentioning this because Bath & Body Works Bright Lemon Snowdrop smells A LOT like Hello Sugar. According to Bath & Body Works it’s smells like a tangy frosted lemon cookie with tart citrus, marshmallow fluff and vanilla bean. To me it smells like lemon sugar! Sweet, lightly tarte, and very sugary. At the opening mist there’s a burst of yummy lemon but almost immediately as the mist settles on your skin the lovely sugary note comes into play! I don’t get marshmallow but I do get a sort of burnt vanilla and sugar note in the back ground that gives this a nice warmth. I guess I sort of get the cookie thing they are going for because as it dries it sort of smells like a citrus-y cookie on my skin! It’s very nice and highly recommended for anyone that likes scents like Fresh Lemon Sugar. It isn’t an exact dupe of that scent by any means but it certainly smells a lot like it!

For fans of Hello Sugar I’d highly recommend Bath & Body Works Bright Lemon Snowdrop!

I love this one. I didn’t think I would like such a sweet scent, but I might have to go back and get the body spray.

Thank you SO much for this review!! I have been searching for a dupe for Hello Lemon Sugar for what feels like forever, and no one else even seems to remember it. Unfortunately, Bright Lemon Snowdrop is now gone from B&BWs as well, but it’s decent enough that I was just now able to snag some from Amazon. 🙂

    Thanks Muse!
