I used to be a massive Bobbi Brown fan. When I started playing with makeup I was all bold all the time! I loved color! But as I got older I started liking more simple looks and Bobbi Brown was sort of my go to for simple yet elegant looks. Sadly, Bobbi Brown has changed so much over the years. I still keep my eyes out for some of her products (hello Crushed Lipstick and Liquid Lipstick you’re so damn awesome!) but a lot of her eyeshadow palette sadly don’t excited me as they once did.
I’ve found a replacement for Bobbi in Charlotte Tilbury! I have to admit I really like a lot of CT Beauty lately and her skincare as well. My obsession actually started with the skincare and I worked myself over to her color cosmetics. Nowadays anytime she releases anything I’m first on line to order it. Her eyeshadow is not the most pigmented in the world but I appreciate the sheer beauty of it as my eyes are finely lined and aging. Her shades aren’t the boldest around but they are flattering, natural and pretty. I appreciate that.
I thought I’d do a list of some of the best Charlotte Tilbury offerings that I really love which would be a great pick up during today’s Sephora sale because let’s be honest, her stuff isn’t exactly cheap and the Sephora discount use does help things along.
Here’s what I love from Charlotte Tilbury.
Charlotte Tilbury Magic Eye Rescue Cream
Guess what? This isn’t going to erase decades from your eyes! How sad! It is however, going to provide intense moisture. People, I sneak this in sometimes in the day when I need a little heavier moisture under my dry eyes. I love this stuff. It provides very rich moisture and my dry eyes need that!
Charlotte Tilbury Multi-Miracle Glow Cleansing Balm
This cream-to-oil three in one acts as a cleanser, a mask, and a moisturizing balm. Skip the first two in humble opinion and go straight to the moisturizing balm option! This stuff is amazing. It’s a gel-like consistency that I use overnight after the rest of my skincare. It leaves my skin SUPER dewy and crazy hydrated. In the morning, I cleanse my face as normal and I’m left with major soft and smooth skin. This is one of my holy grail products and a single tube lasts me literally ages. When my skin is feeling tight and dry this is what I reach for to hydrate it and brighten it up! Eases dullness in a single use!
Charlotte Tilbury Mini Magic Night
Magic Night Cream is incredibly expensive at $145 but this set makes things a little more affordable! The set includes a full-size of Magic Eye Cream as well as Magic Night Cream and the original Magic Cream in 0.51 oz sizes!
Charlotte Tilbury Magic Vanish Color Corrector
Use it as a corrector or a concealer this creamy corrector is pigmented, lightweight, and brightens up your entire eye area easily! I picked this up several weeks ago after a reader raved it and I quote like it. I use it in place of my regular concealer and not as a corrector as it has enough pigment to conceal my under eye woes easily!
Charlotte Tilbury Instant Magic Facial Dry Sheet Mask
A dry sheet mask? Does that even work? Yes it does! This sheet mask is completely dry and can be used 5 to 6 times. Weird? Maybe but it works! I slap this on while watching TV and gently use a jade roller over it (or you can just gently press your hands on it). It makes my face look like I had a facial! I feel like my complexion looks brighter, happier, and more firmed and plumped up! It’s pretty sweet that it’s reusable.
Charlotte Tilbury Cheek To Chic Blush
Charlotte Tilbury’s Cheek to Chic in Pillow Talk is def a go to me when I’m feeling heavy handed (which I am like, all the time!). If you’re looking for a blush you can’t mess up this is your girl!
Charlotte Tilbury Hot Lips Lipstick in Electric Poppy
After all this time and the new Hot Lips 2 launch I still so love me Electric Poppy from the original Hot Lips Collection! This stunning, bright pink is creamy, pigmented, and gorgeous!
Charlotte Tilbury Instant Look in a Face & Eye Palette
There’s a new Look in a Palette available for the Holidays and this is prob my favorite one to date. There’s just something about the plum eyeshadow in this palette that gets me. I’ll be reviewing mine soon!
