Bath and Body Works Candle Day 2019

I receive a small commission if you shop through my link.

Brace yourselves, Bath & Body Works Candle Day 2019 is coming! All 3-Wick Candles will be $9.50 this Saturday, December 7th, online at Bath & Body Works and in stores. Since candles have gone up price dramatically in the last few years everyone really looks forward to Candle Day as not only are the candles more than 50% off but Bath & Body Works accepts coupons on that day so you can def score a really good deal.

Keep in mind stores can be really busy so arrive early and if you’re shopping online stuff sells out fast so have your cart prepared and just hit submit when the sale goes live (12AM EST). There will be some new scents available on this day as well as some exclusives some of which are already appearing online like Vanilla Cola Candy, Mermaid Wishes, and Mint Chip Shake.

If you’re doing a store haul make sure to either bring really strong bags or have someone around to help you bring your goodies back to the cart. Typically stores have a lot of crates available so that’s always helpful but if you’re buying 5 or more candles things can get heavy fast.

If you’re shopping online typically there’s a $5.99 shipping fee for orders and honestly, I don’t even mind paying that if I am doing a big order as it’s better than having to haul a bunch of candles back to my cart. And of course, you can use a single promo code per order online.

I need more candles like I need a hole in my head but I def look out for any limited edition or new scents that pop on Candle Day.

Do you have a candle wish list for this year?

Do share!

Isabella MuseIsabella is just an average everyday geeky girl who doesn’t blend her eyeshadow correctly, wears too much blush, and hopes she never finds her holy grail products because she likes the thrill of the chase so much. If they don’t have the scent(S) you are looking for, buy ones and you can go back and exchange them later.

I too do not need any candles. They do make a convenient hostess type gift. However, some folks do not care for scented candles. Might pick up a couple, or rather, a few. Canadian prices will be a little higher.

I do them as hostess gifts too! Most of my friends enjoy them so at least I know they are going to good homes ;-D

Since Bath and Body Works only sells candles made with paraffin wax, which is petroleum based, I buy soy and occasionally coconut candles from T.J. Maxx or Home Goods i.e. Sand and Fog are soy candles and cost $7.99 for a 12oz. candle. I recently purchased several scents including Frazier fir for the holidays and they smell amazing. I found paraffin wax did not burn cleanly and even made my walls dirty (discovered before painting). Soy and coconut are a healthy and reasonably priced alternative to the ones at B&BW. And no, I don’t work for any TJX store, just a shopper and lover of good candles. Love your blog and I read it daily!

I am very guilty of buying them but thanks Laura for reminding us that there are much nicer soy options available! and thank you for being a daily reader 🙂 <3!

Hi Muse…I was just reading your info about candle day. Just an Fyi..I’ve been seeing online that the candles are going to be $9.50 each. Not sure if you were aware of the price increase. Thanks for always providing all of the beauty info!

Thanks Maria. A lot of the candle blogs/instagrammers I follow keep saying $8.95. I know BBW is doing a Facebook live today so hopefully we can get the exact confirmation on price from them ;-D Aw my pleasure thank you for reading it!

I am confessing again. I have 10 candles in my cart ready to go. I don’t need more. Cranberry peach, unicorn sprinkles(wtf? I wish), mint chip shake, cereal marshmallow bar, cranberry pear bellini, ballerina rose, strawberry pound cake, mint chocolate, pineapple mango, citrus crystals.

Ooo! I definitely still have quite the stash from last year, but Fresh Fall Morning is a new discovery/fave. So if that shows back up on the website, I’m gonna need a few…. Dozen. Lol ^_^

20% Off with code Santa until 5.59AM, sale starts 12 AM est so still works during that time frame!

      • Carol

The problem with that is you can only use one code. The candle sale needs a code. I hate that they do that because in the store you can use a coupon but not online. It’s not fair but they’ve always been d!ck$ like that. I don’t want to go to the store I just want to order online but we get penalized for ordering online.
