Nabla Skin Glazing Highlighter Review & Swatches
I picked up Nabla Cosmetics Glazing Highlighter in Truth during the Black Friday sales and fell in love instantly with it. I know, I know! I’m always bitching about how I hate highlighters but I do so love a highlighter that works great as a blush and that’s exactly what Nabla Skin Glazing Highlighter in Truth does! It works great as a highlighter but it’s pigmented enough to work fabulously as a blush too!
What more could a girl want?
Nabla Cosmetics Glazing Highlighter is available in six shade selections and it’s 0.23 oz in size for $24. The highlighter comes packaged in a very slick clear case and has a Nabla’s logo pressed into the powder. The powder is made in Italy where the brand was born and raised. Lucky enough, Nabla is now available at Ulta.
The shade I selected was Truth which is a golden peachy pink. The powder is a firm, dense powder but was surprisingly easily to pick up with my brush. I think the density translates well in the application of the powder as it isn’t powdery which means it doesn’t adhere to drier areas on my face and looks way smoother and more flawless on my skin than a more powdery highlighter would. The shade is actually pigmented enough to work easily as a blush on my light medium tone. It produced a really gorgeous metallic glow on my cheeks and it wore for a good eight hour period while retaining the gorgeous glow it produced upon the original application.
I would buy more of these in the future as I really enjoyed the texture, application, and the strong wear! The color is gorgeous as well!
All in all, an excellent purchase that I was very happy with.

Where to buy
Nabla Skin Glazing Highlighter is a $24, 0.23 oz, highlighter that recently became available in the US at Ulta in six shades. This is a dense powder highlighter with a firm to the touch texture. The density of the powder really works well because the color applies very smoothly without adhering to drier skin which results in a more airbrushed look versus a more looser, powdery highlighter that can adhere to drier areas or accentuate pores or less than smooth skin. The highlighter produces a very pretty metallic sheen and the shade I selected, Truth, works well as a blush as well and wore for a solid eight hours without losing its glow or intensity.
- Beautifully packaged.
- Excellent formula that wears long.
- Applies flawlessly.
- Pigmented enough to work as a blush.
- Firmer, denser powder is easy to work with disappoint those who prefer a more powdery highlighter!
Nabla Skin Glazing Highlighter is a perfect pick for anyone that struggles applying highlighter. The density of the powder makes it a lot easier to apply and blend versus a more powder highlighter.
