Time to Settle Down for a Long Winter’s Nap

I receive a small commission if you shop through my link.

So, this is Christmas and what have you done? Hope you think back fondly on a year that’s almost over. I hope you remember the kindness you bestowed on others as well as on yourself. I hope you can answer the question of, “What have I done?” with a positive reply. Remember, whatever it is you did be it smile at a complete stranger in the street or attended a walk for women’s rights, big or small all good things count in the large scheme of things.

I only have one two wishes for myself, my family, my friends, and all of you, my extended family here on Musings of a Muse. The first one is that you are always happy, that you always have something in your life you can smile about. The second one is that you are healthy and without illness or sickness in your life and if you are struggling with some illness I wish you wellness in 2020.

Be nice to yourself. Be nice to others. Remember this life is really, really, really short! Don’t spend any moment of it being negative.

Merry Christmas my dear, dear friends. Settle down for your long winter’s nap tonight with a smile on your face because you have the bestest gift of all.

About the Muse

Isabella MuseIsabella is just an average everyday geeky girl who doesn’t blend her eyeshadow correctly, wears too much blush, and hopes she never finds her holy grail products because she likes the thrill of the chase so much. Her mission is to bring you super honest reviews on makeup, skincare, fragrance and all things beauty. She’s in no way an expert on the topic and she sure as hell isn’t a super model. But she’s passionate about makeup and is seeking like-minded individuals that like pina coladas, getting caught in the rain, and ones that enjoy spending hundreds of dollars at Sephora without feeling buyer’s remorse. If you’re that person feel free to reach out and leave a comment or follow me on Facebook, Instagram, Twitter, and Bloglovin‘.

Muse, I love your holidays posts. They always make me feel nostalgic and grateful for my life and family. Thanks so much for all of your hard work during the year. I know you have a full time job on top of blogging and I appreciate your thoughtful posts and reviews. I never buy anything unless it’s muse-approved and have discovered so many products via your blog. So Merry Christmas and I hope you have a wonderful rest of the holidays! I’m excited for your 2020 posts!

You write the most uplifting holiday messages that make me remember to stop and reflect on all the good things I have, even when some days aren’t as bright as I wish. But total them up, and I really have a lot to be thankful for, even if one greatest blessing is a wonderful friend. Merry Christmas, Isabella and have a Happy New Year!

Thank You! I hope you had a wonderful holiday season as well! I really enjoy your blog and almost always read it daily. You do a fantastic job on keeping your readers updated on sales, new products, reviews and other important “happenings” in the beauty world and the highlight of my day is checking in to see what Muse has to say.
