Too Faced The Natural Nudes Eyeshadow Palette is available now at Ulta. I know, I know, it’s another nude eyeshadow palette but I want it. I LOVE it in fact. Jerrod leaked it on Instagram yesterday and I gasped. I just love the shades. It contains 16 shades and is inspired by Born this Way Foundation. The shades were created to suit a wide variety of skin tones and you can stick to shades that flatter your tone best or work yourself into other shades to create pretty, natural looks.
The palette launches in February which surprised me was Too Faced typically launches their Spring Collections the week of Christmas. This isn’t new for them it goes back many, many years. They have always been early with Spring launches. But this year we have to wait for February. I find myself not minding so much as maybe it’ll give me more time to enjoy some of the items I purchased for the Holiday season.
Another reason I’m liking this palette is it isn’t a monster. It contains 16 shades and that’s quite alright. I don’t need 50 eyeshadows in one palette! 16 is perfect! Not too much that it overwhelms and not too little that you feel like you don’t have a wide selection of shades to create a number of different looks.
We might face some issues with this palette as you might struggle with contrast and maybe you’ll have to bring in shades from your own collection. Monochromatic Palettes are fun but they can be challenging at times as during blending things can run together into one shade. None the less, I’m still feeling with love for this palette. I’m pretty happy lately with what Too Faced has been doing so I have hopes the Too Faced the Natural Nudes Palette will be formulated well.
