NARS Cool Crush Eyeshadow Palette Rushes in for Spring 2020 At Nordstrom

NARS Cool Crush Eyeshadow Palette, Cool Crush Hot Fix Cheek Palette, and Cool Crush Loaded Lip Lacquer are now available for Spring 2020 exclusively at Nordstrom. Interesting how NARS seems to have all sorts of exclusive launches lately across the board. Some end up at Ulta, others at Sephora, and others still at Nordstrom and let’s not forget some are only available from NARS website. I do so hate the Easter Egg Hunt with makeup exclusives though!

But hey, if you love NARS you might not mind so much!

NARS Cool Crush Eyeshadow Palette is the star of these release and a fairly traditional Spring to Summer transitioning palette that takes a bunch of nudes and combines them with some pops of blue and aqua. I’ve always felt the look was a nod to Estee Lauder’s traditional Bronze Goddess look which includes a shimmery bronze-y gold eye and a pop of aqua or blue on the lower lash line. The palette contains 12 shades and is priced at $59. I’m not sure if it contains glitter shades but I sure hope not as the Inferno Eyeshadow Palette was a bit of a mess!

NARS Cool Crush Hot Fix Cheek Palette also launches with this collection and it is a tempting piece! I always find NARS Blush Palettes tempting though! This one contains the following four shades:

  • Gold Leash (shimmering gold highlighter)
  • Spark Got Hot (shimmering beige pink)
  • Dream Peach (matte warm peach brown)
  • Sugar Spirit (shimmering nude rose)

Finally this release includes four shades of NARS Cool Crush Loaded Lip Lacquer ($26). Shades include:

  • Playing Room
  • FreeStyle
  • Young Hearts
  • Foxy

I’m personally migrating towards a few of the shades of lip lacquer and the cheek palette. What about you? Anything from the NARS Cool Crush launch calling you name?

NARS Cool Crush for Spring 2020 is exclusively available at Nordstrom.

About the Muse

Isabella MuseIsabella is just an average everyday geeky girl who doesn’t blend her eyeshadow correctly, wears too much blush, and hopes she never finds her holy grail products because she likes the thrill of the chase so much. Her mission is to bring you super honest reviews on makeup, skincare, fragrance and all things beauty. She’s in no way an expert on the topic and she sure as hell isn’t a super model. But she’s passionate about makeup and is seeking like-minded individuals that like pina coladas, getting caught in the rain, and ones that enjoy spending hundreds of dollars at Sephora without feeling buyer’s remorse. No, thank God. That guy usually challenges my debit card, but spring releases can be no-gos. The blush palette ought to be good, and the last eye palette was decent, when his shadows are the most iffy. This should suit many users.

This is just another warm palette from NARS. Calling it Cool Crush doesn’t change that.

  • Jess

Disappointed that this is all warm toned, like always. Why call it Cool Crush when there’s nothing cool toned about it. Enough with the warm neutrals already!

  • Mary

Oh look another pop of real palette… I think I am just not excited with eyeshadows any more, I dont see anything new or exciting, same old same old, which makes sense there is only so many colours you can have.

I really like the colour story in this eye palette and I hope there isn’t any pressed glitter shades, as that is a total no-no for many. Nars can be a bit of a hit and miss sometimes with their eye palettes. The blush shades look lovely.

No. I have two Nars blush palettes to keep me busy! I love Nars but that eyeshadow palette is too warm and to anchor my look with a dark shade I’d have to choose red or teal.
