Fresh Sugar Hydrating Lip Balm Watermelon, Lime Mint, and Blood Orange to Get Your Glossy Lips this Summer

I receive a small commission if you shop through my link.

Fresh Sugar Hydrating Lip Balm is now available in new flavors for Summer 2020. Watermelon, Lime Mint, and Blood Orange are three new yummy flavors available in this hydrating lip balm that gives lips a smoother, plumper appearance thanks to emollient oils from grape seeds, apricot kernels, and black currant seeds.

I purchased the Fresh Sugar Lip Caramel Hydrating Balm when it came out but I was def disappointed at the lack of pigment. I’m curious to see if Blood Orange will be anymore pigmented as it sure does look like it is! These don’t appear to be limited edition! Looks like they are exclusive to Sephora but they might just be permanent addictions to the Fresh collection going forward.

Are you a fan of the Fresh Sugar Hydrating Lip Balm formula? Thinking about purchasing these new shades?

Do share!

P.S. How you doing today? Hanging in there? Me too! Just taking it day by day. I had a massive bicker with my sister today. Fun! We don’t fight much but when we do there are fireworks! I think tensions are just running high with all this craziness right now. I’m going to delete my news app off my phone for a few hours everyday because I swear I spend way too much time looking at the headlines every few minutes! I’ve never had a moment of anxiety in my life but the news makes me anxious as hell. What are some ways you relax and de-stress? Do share ’em!

About the Muse

Isabella MuseIsabella is just an average everyday geeky girl who doesn’t blend her eyeshadow correctly, wears too much blush, and hopes she never finds her holy grail products because she likes the thrill of the chase so much. Her mission is to bring you super honest reviews on makeup, skincare, fragrance and all things beauty. She’s in no way an expert on the topic and she sure as hell isn’t a super model. But she’s passionate about makeup and is seeking like-minded individuals that like pina coladas, getting caught in the rain, and ones that enjoy spending hundreds of dollars at Sephora without feeling buyer’s remorse. I have a huge hoard of lip balms (one of the many things I OCD over), but these are calling out to me. I’ll prob wait for the next 20% off sale to haul them.
My sis-in-law and I rarely bicker, but I texted a funny meme about cruising the seas during the pandemic and she (a frequent cruiser) was pretty damn snippy about it. I guess she’s more anxious than she lets on, so I’ll tiptoe around her for now. Hubby and I are limiting our exposure to the news too.
We are now getting into diy landscaping and we’re enjoying things that we thought about doing for years, i.e. new stone paths, extending the patio, starting a veggie garden, removing tired, overgrown bushes. We used to do happy hour only on weekends, but we try to relax at the end of the day by doing it every day for now. We are enjoying the peacefulness of having cocktails on the deck and watching the antics of our beautiful free range chickens that we raise for a hobby and living “yard art”.

I am with you! I have to keep my news intake to just a couple minutes a day. Same goes for Facebook. If I spend too much time looking at either of those it stresses me out. Google Classroom is making me a little crazy today! 2 teenagers and a pre-teen and a not techie mom aren’t working so well. I read to help me destress. I love to watch my favorite YouTubers and of course looking at all the pretty things on your blog. Hope you are doing well and staying healthy! Thank you for being a bright spot in my day!

It’s overwhelming! Not to mention a lot of it is completely inaccurate! Are you a teacher? How interesting! It must be hard though with non-technical parents 🙁 I’m def hanging in there and thank goodness healthy! Thank YOU!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! your comment made my day 😀

I am a paraprofessional, so I work in the Special Education department. Even though I am in the schools, Google classroom hasn’t been used before all of this started. I finally figured it out after walking away for a minute

Oh my goodness I watch or checkout my favorite beautybloggers/videos. Kathleen lights, Rhain Hy, Logical Harmony, Taylor Wynn (and you.) I also watch a lot of Hallmark movies.
    No news is good news.
I made a huge thank you note to all the delivery ppl on my house window. I don’t know if that’s possible in NYC.
I am deciding on the career that will best serve me in the future. (Haha I realized that working from home is ideal.)Best news for everyone is that I figure that everyone gets a fresh start after this epidemic.

I really wish they would put these in squeeze tubes. I refuse to buy lip products in pots as it is so unsanitary.

I recently bought the blood orange shade and I love it. It has good pigment and it smells incredible! Though I wish the scent was a little more powerful. I also bought the lime and the scent is very mild which is disappointing to me. I do love the formula of these products though so I don’t regret buying them. I also wish they would offer these in a squeeze tube for on the go wear!

    • Isabella Muse

that color is calling to me! It looks so pretty! Squeeze tube would be ideal imho!

  • SleepyTimeTay

See, I like it if they aren’t pigmented so I don’t have to worry so much about precision lol. But I did buy the watermelon one when Fresh had an early launch on Instagram and I’m in love!! I have the lime mint on my wishlist to pick up next.

    • Isabella Muse

I think I got disappointed with caramel because I expected a pretty nude but it went on very transparent! I’d love a bit of a tint ya know? 😀 Lime Mint sounds fun but someone mentioned it doesn’t have a lot of flavor!

Darling, you can’t look at the news and expect to stay sane right now. LOL! Seriously though, there are actual psychological reasons why you shouldn’t read the news too much. It keeps you in more of a fear state where you’re in your caveman brain, worried about your base needs all the time. Not allowing you to get more into the front of your brain where you can LIVE a fuller life.

This though and MORE can be found in my new book… LOL!

    Love you,
    Me 🙂

Preach Dusty, preach. It’s incredibly hard to read all the news and remain stable lol! I’ve just been limiting myself to Andrew’s daily speech and just not watching or reading the rest. LOL I’ll be first in line for that book! Hope it’s a Self Help Guide/Life Story/Completely Exposed Novel ;D Hugs! I love you! Be safe! Wish the hubby a belated bday from me! 😉 Whoever was so thoughtful to give him TP for his birthday deserves a medal lol!

I just got my very first Fresh lip balm in Sugar lemon, the pot is so cute I don’t want to get my grubby finger messing with it!
I find doing something artsy is a great way to tackle with stress. I specially love coloring books

    • Isabella Muse

oh my god yes! Coloring books for sure. I’ve been doing puzzles and a friend of mine convinced me to buy one of those diamond canvases from amazon! That should keep me occupied for a while! 😀
