Milk Makeup Melatonin Overnight Lip Mask and Milk Makeup Melatonin Overnight Serum launched today and count me intrigued. Who knew that my dry lips could be even drier? For some reason my skin is just having a melt down moment! My forehead is flaky, my lips are dry as heck, my hands feel like an alligator’s skin, this staying home thing is bad for my skin!

How happy am I that Milk Makeup has a new Melatonin Overnight Lip Mask? This new overnight mask hydrates, calms, and replenishes with Hyaluronic Acid and topical Melatonin as well as shea butter. I’m a Laneige Lip Sleeping Mask kind of girl myself but I could be persuaded to try Milk’s formula!

I’m sort over the stick skincare craze so not sure if the Melatonin Overnight Serum will grab me. But the formula sounds interesting! This is an overnight treatment that gives skin a smoother, bouncier appearance using topical Melatonin and Hyaluronic Acid.

Melatonin has been trending heavily at the moment in the world of skincare. I’m sure by Summer we’ll see more and more brands promoting it especially at the drugstore. The ingredient apparently acts to stimulate the skin’s antioxidant enzymes while you sleep which helps to protect skin against harmful environmental pollutants.

I can be convinced to try the lip mask but again, not sure on the serum stick. I’m just not feeling the love for skincare sticks lately. They just don’t seem to work out well for me. They sure are neat for travel and storage plus easy to apply but I’d rather a serum in a pump which would mean less exposure to air.

What do you think of these two new products from Milk Makeup?

About the Muse

Isabella MuseIsabella is just an average everyday geeky girl who doesn’t blend her eyeshadow correctly, wears too much blush, and hopes she never finds her holy grail products because she likes the thrill of the chase so much. Her mission is to bring you super honest reviews on makeup, skincare, fragrance and all things beauty. She’s in no way an expert on the topic and she sure as hell isn’t a super model. But she’s passionate about makeup and is seeking like-minded individuals that like pina coladas, getting caught in the rain, and ones that enjoy spending hundreds of dollars at Sephora without feeling buyer’s remorse.
