Summer Fridays Lip Butter Balm Is A Vanilla Flavored And That’s All I Had to Hear

My hands are dry, my forehead in flaky, and my lips are super dry. This staying inside thing is just not working out for me. I can’t figure out exactly why my skin is so dry lately! I’m blaming steam heat. It’s been chilly in New York (last night it went down to 33 degrees) and I all the steam heat is just doing a number on my skin I guess.

Summer Fridays has a new Lip Butter Balm and they had me when they said it was vanilla flavored. Doesn’t it feel like every single lip balm and treatment out there is always mint in flavor? I demand new flavors! This new formula contains a mix of Shea and Murumuru butter and can be worn overnight or even in the day to restore moisture to lips and make them softer and smoother!

It’s so weird how many lip treatments and masks are out at the moment. Shouldn’t this be a Winter thing? Or did brands know we’d be stuck inside this long and end up with dry, icky lips?

Who knows but I ordered me some Summer Fridays Lip Butter Balm.

    Mmmm… sounds yummy!
I feel your pain… my skin is flakier, hands & lips are drier than usual too. I use the Saturday Skin Rub-A-Dub Refining Peel Gel to help remove some of the flakes and First Aid Beauty Ultra Repair Cream on my hands. Have to use cuticle oil more often too.
Anything with lanolin works very well for me, so I’m using Lanolips and the old formula Bite agave lip mask that I hoarded when they went on clearance last Dec.

I know what you mean about all the lip stuff with mint in it. I HATE mint in lip products!

During the day, I use various stick balms but my absolute favorite is still Lip Smacker. I love it under color, an old trick that one of my high school classmates taught me to make any lipstick sheer. I’m crazy about the Laneige sleeping mask and recently got the new daytime one in the tube, which I think will go along Smacker as my new favorite.

I don’t mind mint so much but it just feels like to go to for every single lip balm and treatment! How about another flavor? ;-D Gosh, I used to love Lip Smackers ;-D good retro fav!

Hi Isabella. I hope that you’re managing during this challenging time. Thank you for continuing to send your daily emails. Without your emails, I probably wouldn’t know 1/2 of the new releases. But then again, I’d probably have more money in my account, ha. Always appreciate your pulse on what’s new and trending. Stay well! Hugs from Moi from Canada

This is a release so thank you so much for diverting my attention. I am actually going through that too with dryness. I am using my bite agave kit that you recommended when they had that massive sale.

awww happy to hear I did that for you! Anything to get our minds away from the doom and gloom! That’s a great one!

I actually ordered this before I saw your post and it arrived a few hours ago, I’m already in love! Reading the comments so far, I can’t use lanolips or the original bite agave balm (haven’t tried the new vegan one) because I’m allergic to lanolin. I have the hardest time finding a good lip balm because I’m sensitive to lanolin, sunflower oil, safflower oil, and some other stuff. The smell of this stuff is AMAZING!!!
