What are the chances that Bath and Body Works Golden Sunflower Perfume is anything like Elizabeth Arden Sunflower? Just between us? I still love Elizabeth Arden Sunflower as much as I did when I was a freshman in High School! I think Sunflower is sort of my first real “adult” perfume memory. I mean, there was body mists and perfumes from CVS like Exclamation (am I dating myself here? I am right?) but my first real counter perfume memory is Sunflower. To this day I still own a bottle and mist it on from time to time.
I wonder if the new Bath and Body Works Golden Sunflower Perfume will smell like it?
For Fall 2020, Bath and Body Works launched this in the Signature Collection that includes shower gel, body lotion, and fragrance mist. There’s also an EDP formula as well! According to the brand the notes include sunflower petals, orange flower and fresh vanilla.
I like the smell of sunflowers and of course vanilla but orange flower can be iffy. For example, Lush Orange Blossom is gorgeous but sometimes white florals don’t always work well for me. I’m not sure how I feel about sunflowers, vanilla, and orange flower appearing all in one fragrance. Will it be sweet? Will it be all floral? Someone rated the fragrance mist a three but sadly, the review was removed it looks like.
Anyone smell Bath and Body Works Golden Sunflower Perfume yet?
Did you enjoy it?
I’m looking forward to trying it out and I’ll let you know what I think!
Bath and Body Works Golden Sunflower is available now online and it should be hitting stores this weekend or next week at the latest!
