Carol’s Daughter Hair Milk Refresher Spray is one of my absolutely favorite products! I use it to detangle my hair, I use it to hydrate and add much needed moisture to my locks, and I even use it poolside to freshen up my hair and reduce tangles.

I am have a serious issue at the moment and debating whether I need to hoard it because Carol’s Daughter Conditioner’s scent and formula recently changed. I purchased a new bottle recently and at first I thought I was crazy but I quickly realized it wasn’t the same conditioner I know and love. I HOPE they don’t change the scent of the other Hair Milk items. I don’t even know how to describe the scent. It’s sort of fresh, slightly tart fragrance that just smells clean and pretty!

Anyway, here’s how I use my Carol’s Daughter Hair Milk Refresher Spray to keep my hair from becoming dry and brittle after a dip or two in the pool!

My hair gets notoriously dry when I swim. Chlorine just makes my locks dry and brittle feeling. Always, ALWAYS rinse your hair or even shampoo it after you’re done enjoying yourself at the pool. You really don’t want to walk around with all that chlorine in your hair.

I typically refresh my hair after taking a dip in our pool with Hair Milk. My hair is super long and super wave so after I get out of the pool I’ll blot excess water off and I’ll turn my head upside and mist the underside of my hair with this. I’ll flip it over and I’ll mist the rest. I do this after each dip in the pool. This not only keeps my hair tangle free but it also adds excellent moisture to my hair so when I do rinse out my hair and shampoo it after my day in the pool it’s super shiny, easy to manage, and isn’t dry or brittle.

Try it you might like it!

And if you’re not a water baby? No problem! Use Carol’s Daughter Hair Milk Refresher Spray after your shower to detangle, add moisture, and shine to your hair! Not to mention it’ll make your hair smell beautiful all day!

Muse do you by chance have any experience with budget detanglers? I need something for my kiddo that would run the edge of cost effective and not straight up gross. Perhaps something like this would work better than the stuff marketed as kid detanglers that are like straight silicone.

I actually use a lot of kid’s detanglers in my hair if you can believe it ha! My favs: Honest Co Orange Vanilla Detangler about $5 dollars, Johnson and Johnson Detangler $3-$4, California Baby Detangler bit more expensive at around $12 this does contain essentials oils not sure if that is an issue.
