Wakey, wakey! It’s a bright, sunny Monday morning! How’s your day going so far? I’ve been up since 4:45AM trying to get this party started. I put up some really cute new curtains in my kitchen (posted ’em on my Instastories if you want to see), I did a little meal prep, got my work out in, had some TLC time with the puppy, did a load of laundry, did pics for the blog, and finally got ready to go to work.

I feel a little tired today as it was a very long, busy weekend. We are still very much isolating from friends and family but we have such a good time together I dunno if we mind so much It’s a sign of a healthy relationship when you aren’t driving each other crazy by being together so much without other people involved right?

Did you have a good weekend?

What did you do?

I went to bed hecka early last night. 10PM and I was out like a light. They kept saying that we’d be getting some really bad weather overnight but I imagine a bomb could go off beside me and I’d still have slept hard last night! I was a bit pooped last night after going non stop all weekend.

Even though I went to bed early I still woke up like a zombie because I am so not a morning person. This made me break out those new Two Faced Melted Chocolate Liquid Matte Eyeshadow I got and I think I’m in love. I wanted to do a really quick and simple look that was natural but pretty and here’s how it went.

Too Melted Chocolate Liquid Matte Eyeshadow launched several weeks ago for Spring and I hauled a shade during the Sephora Spring Bonus Event but I actually never used it. Suddenly, they mistakenly available on BOGO during the Ulta Lipstick Event and I hauled a few shades and now I’m all in love with them! These are so great for a quick, easy matte look! This morning I used Chocolate Bunny on my eyes and I paired it up with some other natural items for a really simple look!

Next up I applied a bit of Milani Color Harmony Blush in Coral Beams! I typically don’t like bronzers all that much but this combines highlighter, blusher, and bronzer all in one compact to create a really pretty glow on my cheeks!

And finally I completed the look with a nude lip look using my favorite shade of Pat Mcgrath Lust Gloss in Flesh Fantasy! I highly recommend snagging it! It’s the perfect nude lip color! Love, love, love it!

And that’s it! Done! Three color products and I’m ready to go.

Isabella MuseIsabella is just an average everyday geeky girl who doesn’t blend her eyeshadow correctly, wears too much blush, and hopes she never finds her holy grail products because she likes the thrill of the chase so much. You look great Muse! I love the milky caramel eyeshadow shade you have on and nude lips. Such a fresh look <3 I watched Itaewon Class last night until 1:30 in the morning and woke up groggy; k dramas are terribly addicting lol. I didn't put on any makeup today but managed to slap on vitamin c serum and moisturizer. Happy Monday!

Yes, I purchased 2 of the Too Melting colors and LOVE them! Thanks for the tip! I had never used them before but have been wanting to find something more lasting than my usual MAC eye powders. These are great! They are waterproof and seem to last really well throughout my work day. I got Cocoa Cream (light vanilla color) and Chocolate Wine (gorg dark purple). Now I am going to order Tirami-Sue Me and Warm & Fudgy, and yes, Chocolate Bunny, thanks to you! Damn you Isabella!! Damn you!! Lmao…I say that with the deepest affection, of course! 😉 My question: do you use your fingers to blend? Or a brush? I’ve only had them 2 days and have been using my fingers but think some sort of dense blending brush would be good to blend out. Thoughts? -Brady

YAYYYYY! So glad to hear it. Wear was excellent for me too! I got four shades and want more now! I’d totally pay full price for them but the BOGO was awesome ;-D Hahahahahaha <3! I love you! I did my fingers. Dabbed a bit on my eye lid and blended out with my finger but a dense brush would work great I'm sure! I like the idea of a brush tbh as I do try to avoid touching my face as much as impossible in these crazy times even when I know my hands are clean during application I'm still all weird and anal!

I’m going to experiment this weekend with a few different brushes and see how it works out. I want to do a soft smoky eye with the Chocolate Wine, and use that as a liner as well. We’ll see! I ordered the other colors and can’t wait to get them! I’ll keep you posted! xoxo
