Just Let Me Bath in a Sea of Lush Let The Good Times Roll Body Spray

Lush Let The Good Times Roll Body Wash is one of several new body sprays that brand introduced several weeks ago. I recall having a special lemming for these when the pandemic broke out and everyone was stuck at home but I refused to order them at the time as I didn’t want to put stress on Lush factory workers as there were all sorts of stories going around about their working conditions.

I finally gave into temptation a few short days ago and ended up hauling Lush Let the Good Times Roll Body Spray and a few of the other new body sprays. I should have gotten a back up of this one because it smells amazing. I happy to love Let the Good Times Roll Cleanser and one of the key selling points of the cleanser is the scent. It smells like a fun fair! Popcorn, caramel corn, vanilla, delicious! This smells a lot like the cleanser but it also, has it’s own unique twist on that fragrance!

The mist comes in the standard 6.7 oz Windex style mist bottle and it will set you back $34.95. The body sprays aren’t all priced the same. Some are $35 others are $30 it really depends on the scent. At first, I did wince slightly at $35 because it’s a body spray not a perfume but it smells so amazing I can see myself buying it again without hesitation.

Lush dubs this a kettle corn fragrance but to me it’s so much more than that. It isn’t the heavy popcorn smell I get from the cleanser but has a more cozier vanilla note at the dry down. The first mist is a little odd as it almost has a chemical note which quickly disappears and gives way to a full on carnival. There’s cotton candy, popcorn, funnel cake, it just hits you in the face like that first step on the midway! I think the real magic is the dry down though!

As it settles onto your skin it morphs and a lot of vanilla comes out. It’s not Lush Vanillary but a warmer cake-y fragrance. It almost smells like cake and popcorn smashed together. It’s delicious and a little difficult to describe but I promise if you’re a gourmand lover you’ll adore it!

I got a little crazy and misted myself with this when I got it yesterday in the mail and I went about making myself some dinner. It was on a few hours before my boyfriend made his way out of his office (he’s working on West Coast time lately so, I tend to eat dinner while he’s still in his headspace working) and he came out and into the living room sniffing the air asking if I baked something because it smelled delicious! This was good news to me because when I misted it on initially I thought it seemed a little weak but he obviously smelled it. It appears to have really good throw and linger. I’m wearing it now and I can smell it in the air.

All in all, a wonderful pick that comes with a big recommendation for purchase.
