You know how I love Milk Hydro Grip Makeup Primer and I was pretty hyped about Milk Makeup Hydro Grip Setting + Refresh Spray but does it contain alcohol like the primer? Guess what? It does not! Wahoo! This formula is complete alcohol-free! And ready to give your face a glass-like finish! Speaking of glass skin it seems like everyone is launching a mist that will give you glass skin this season! Peach & Lily literally just launched Glass Skin Veil Mist I wonder how that formula compares to this Milk Makeup one?

Milk Hydro Grip Makeup Primer is definitely a go to of mine! It’s a gel primer that not only hydrate but really makes foundation look fresher and leaves skin looking natural. I love it! I hate the alcohol but I deal with it as I never come out of the experience feeling dry! Honestly, I’d pay big money for them to create this gel without alcohol in an eye primer-like formula. I think that would be really amazing!

For now though, we have this new mist! This one does throw me a little! First off, you know I tend to not using makeup setting mists all that much!

I dunno something about setting my makeup with a mist after applying it always squeaks me out. And this formula is a dual-phase which makes me even more wary of it. But I’m willing to try it anyway since the primer is so amazing.

It contains Hyaluronic Acid, Aloe, and Niacinamide as well as Blue Agave Extract which apparently acts as the grip for makeup and what sets it! As I said the dual-phase sort of scares me but they do promise it’s not sticky nor slick and when mixed together the spray comes out as a weightless invisible layer to set your makeup!

Does it work? Let’s hope so! As I said I am huge, massive fan of the primer so I’m putting faith in Milk that they’ll do me another solid with the formula of Hydro Grip Setting + Refresh Spray and it’ll be as awesome as the primer is!

Milk Makeup Hydro Grip Setting + Refresh Spray is available now at Sephora.

Anyone want to try it?
