Sephora Points for Discount Event 10% or 15% Off from Now Until October 4th

I receive a small commission if you shop through my link.

You can now redeem Sephora Points for 10% or 15% off your total order at sephora.com now through October 4th. The new Sephora Points for Discount is for Beauty Insiders and allows 15% off by redeeming 1000 points or 10% off for redeeming 750 points. There $10 off your total price for 500 points is still effective as always as this is a one time event with an expiration date of October 4th.

The offer is valid for Sephora Beauty Insiders and it is offered as a one time per transaction and can be used ten times per transaction (of course, you have to deem points for each discount received). The discount is not valid on Dyson, The Ordinary, MAC (Canada), and there’s a minimum of five Morphe items.

If you’re refunding anything from the purchase made with the discount your points will not be returned to you and the refund received will be for the discounted amount.

This event doesn’t appear to have any influence on the normal Holiday Rewards Bonus of 20% Off which should be coming soon as last year it started very early.

Oddly, I am only offered 15% off for 1000 points! I’m not seeing the option for 10% off which makes me think this is somehow a tiered event where Rouge can redeem 1000 points for 15% off and maybe VIB and BI can redeem 10% off for 750 points. I’m not sure if I am right as the instructions do say you can do either or but I’m just not seeing the option to do that. If I was going to take advantage I’d probably just do the 15% anyway as I have points to spare.

Anyone going to take advantage of the Sephora Points for Discount Event?

About the Muse

Isabella MuseIsabella is just an average everyday geeky girl who doesn’t blend her eyeshadow correctly, wears too much blush, and hopes she never finds her holy grail products because she likes the thrill of the chase so much. Her mission is to bring you super honest reviews on makeup, skincare, fragrance and all things beauty. She’s in no way an expert on the topic and she sure as hell isn’t a super model. But she’s passionate about makeup and is seeking like-minded individuals that like pina coladas, getting caught in the rain, and ones that enjoy spending hundreds of dollars at Sephora without feeling buyer’s remorse. Nope! I’m holding out for the 20% off event. Need to save as much money as I can on these big ticket items.

Depending on how big your order is, this could potentially be more savings than the $100 reward for 2.5K pts; I think the math works out if you save more than $40 (public math but I used a calculator!!)

I am kind of over Sephora’s lukewarm (at best) loyalty program. I remember in the 00s when I lived in Massachusetts, the only accessible Sephora for me was in Cleveland, OH when I’d go to visit family. I’d always spend a LOT and they’d weigh me down with almost more samples and deluxe sizes than items I bought! It was so fun to root through all the freebies. Then it was 3 samples with every order, now it’s 2 and it’s anyonoe’s guess if you’ll even get the ones you picked from the underwhelming offerings. Nothing ever feels worth the points to me. Ulta has kind of ruined Sephora for me! This is such a negative post lol, but Sephora was my love for SO long that it still hurts when they offer this kind of thing like it’s something special.
