Urban Decay Holiday 2020 Gift Sets are popping up featuring a new Stoned Vibes Vault! You know it’s the holidays when makeup vaults start popping up but with the current pandemic one wonders how many people are actually indulging in entire makeup vault collections.

The Urban Decay Stoned Vibes Eyeshadow Palette launched very recently and I thought it was an early Fall 2020 launch but I guess they using this palette as a focus for their Holiday 2020 Collection. I’m sure we’ll see some other palette launch as the Holidays grower nearer though. This palette didn’t even make a blip on my radar. I saw the microglitter and I was all, “Nope, nope, nope!” I’m unsure if these are eye safe but I really can’t with glitter in eye palettes lately. And don’t get me started on the infusion of genuine tourmaline to block bad energy. Oy vey!

I’d love to say all these new Urban Decay Holiday 2020 Gift Sets are appealing but I see them being on clearance before the Holiday even gets here.

Yes, sort of appealing but probably will regret if I buy it. I’m still stuck on Naked palettes 1 and 2. It was such a bad breakup, I need it back! In other news, I wish they would bring back different size empty eyeshadow palettes. the 12 empty pan one is boring and clunky.

I’m kind of meh here. Seems not much different from last year, a bunch of duos of their basic products, with a couple new things, just different packaging.

They used to do more new stuff or sets of different products (not just basics like this). I always loved their holiday eyeliner sets.

    • Isabella Muse

It’s all so boring 🙁 I did too! The liner sets were great but the formula went down so much on the eyeliners! They aren’t as creamy as they once were and the mini ones are even worst and drier 🙁

  • Lauren

Is it really glitter or is it the multicolor mashed together powder? If the latter, I am interested. If the former, not so much. Also, somewhat related … I think I need glasses.

What on Earth has happened to UD the last few years? 1,000 “naked” palettes and rubbish holiday releases. Remember when it used to be a brand new Book of Shadows and other new and interesting products?! I can’t get excited by a set of two setting sprays in holiday packaging, this is the second year they’ve released basically this lineup isn’t it?! Hard pass from me! Hope you’re well Muse

    • Isabella Muse

girl been longer than two years! They’ve done these sets over and over and over again for at least four or five years now! I miss the book of shadows and the awesome liner sets. Damn shame things have changed so much! I’m great hanging in there thanks for asking I hope you are too!

      • Kay

You are so right, I’ve just looked back on the last few collections! I don’t think I’ve been excited for a holiday launch from UD since 2014 when I snapped up that mini vice lipstick set, that and the liner sets (with exclusive shades of course) are the kind of stuff we want! Glad to hear you’re well, I’m all good at the moment too thank you

        • Isabella Muse

it sucks right? I can’t remember when UD excited me last 🙁 I used to LOVE them! How is TF is more exciting than UD lately? Thank goodness 🙂 I’m glad to hear that! Being good is a blessing lately ;-D <3!

          • Kay

Same, I wanted EVERYTHING they released once upon a time! I remember when even I could go into the shop and browse even their core range for ages and a new purchase would be soooo exciting. And it’s so weird because I nearly said exactly that in my last comment – TF definitely has the edge with regards to fun releases over UD now which seems nuts! For sure, I feel like I’ve been very lucky to be honest. Take care of yourself, and I’m looking forward to your thoughts on even more new makeup goodies 🙂

Oh my god me too. I mean, don’t tell anyone this, but I legit own almost all their original single eyeshadows! They were amazing! Every time they launched new ones I was buying them! That was when their formula was great but the eyeshadows are so patchy and dry now! For a long time I was sort of over TF too! They were releasing things that were too childish and the formula weren’t fab but the last year and half they improved dramatically and it is sort of crazy they surpass UD in terms of quality now! ;-D you too my dear! A pleasure speaking to you on this topic today!
