Fenty Beauty Instant Reset Overnight Recovery Gel Has Some Pretty Good Ingredients

Fenty Beauty Instant Reset Overnight Recovery Gel ($40) is a new nightly treatment moisturizer that acts to hydrate skin and create a smoother, more even tone. This is the fourth skincare product from Fenty and right now it looks like they’ll be extending the line even further as they Fenty website is split between Fenty Beauty and Fenty Skin now.

Oddly, Fenty is one of those lines that you feel like the creator would actually use these products. If rumors are true Riri is really big on skincare (and fragrance and makeup) and I can sort of seeing her reaching for something like this.

This is actually not an all hype product which is delightful as typically these types of products launch with a lot of fanfare only to have some really crappy ingredients. Some of the first ingridents here are Niacinamide which acts to even skin tone and fights dark spot as well as Hyaluronic acid which plumps skin and allows it to retain moisture. Hydrating ingredients include melon oil, baobab, and aloe. I’m properly impressed with what they packed into this little gel. They say it smells like tropical fruits and flowers and that might be from the melon oil and other natural oils as I see nothing listed as a fragrance option.

It’s supposed to act as an overnight treatment or sleep mask as well as a moisturizer to fight dark spots, uneven skin tone, fine lines, and wrinkles. It comes in a refillable jar that features an applicator to scoop out the product without having to touch it.

I haven’t actually tried any of the other Fenty Beauty Skincare items but this one has me intrigued.

Right now it’s exclusive to Fenty’s website but should be coming soon to Sephora.

Count me curious! The ingredients sound wonderful. It’s getting so dry where I live and anything that can help with that is what I am after.
