Farmacy Honey Halo Ultra-Hydrating Ceramide Moisturizer Review & Swatches
Farmacy Honey Halo Ultra-Hydrating Ceramide Moisturizer ($45) launched a few months ago and has quickly become my favorite nightly moisturizer. And now that winter is here this is even better! It’s very hydrating formula and I absolutely love what it does for my skin. I use it nightly and wake up with brighter, smoother skin. A lot of my dullness is due to dryness! My skin tends to look really dull when it’s dry! A good hydrating moisturizer like this makes my skin look alive again!
Farmacy Honey Halo Ultra-Hydrating Ceramide Moisturizer was created for normal to dry skin types to treat finer lines and wrinkles as well as to address dryness and loss of firmness and elasticity. I can’t speak for finer lines and wrinkles nor firmness but I will say this is highly moisturizer.
It arrives in a 1.7 oz glass jar with a spatula to scoop out the amount you’d like to apply. The spatula actually attached to the top of the jar thanks to magnet that’s embedded in the top. You might recognize this feature as both Farmacy Honey Potion Warming Face Mask and Farmacy Honey Drop Lightweight Moisturizer have the same design. I buy spatulas in bulk because I tend to lose them so, I always find the fact that Farmacy’s are metal and attach to the jar for safe keeping really rather handy.
The formula relies heavily on shea butter and vegetable oil for the hydration benefits and it does contain some ceramides as promises as well as propolis extract, honey, and royal extract but that is lower on the list. One star here is Pentaerythrityl Tetraisostearate which really adds that extra boost of hydration and likely gives this it’s creamy, balmy texture.
Speaking of texture…
This is lovely stuff. It’s thick and creamy and almost has a balm-like consistency that absorbs very easily into skin. It has the same honey scent that all Farmacy products seem to sport but I don’t notice any scent listed on the ingredients so I’m unsure if it’s artificial or not?
A little goes a long way at leaving skin smooth and hydrated and creating a nice moisture barrier around skin for long time moisturizing benefits!
I can’t rave this enough! It’s brilliant and a good pick up for drier skin especially now that the cold weather is setting in!
Farmacy Honey Halo Ultra-Hydrating Ceramide Moisturizer is available now.
Where to buy
Farmacy Honey Halo Ultra-Hydrating Ceramide Moisturizer is a fairly new nightly moisturizer that hydrates skin with a blend of ceramides and honey. After reading the ingredients it contains shea butter and vegetable oil to do most of it’s hydration. It’s thick, creamy, and has a balm-like texture and absorbs very easily into skin. It works amazingly well on my drier skin and not only hydrates but forms a nice barrier of moisture on around my skin! It does have a light honey and beeswax-like fragrance!
