Happy Monday! Hope you had a fabulous weekend! If you’re in New York you should be enjoying some weirdly warm weather right now! We’re in the 70s today for some reason! It made me switch up some of my skincare the last few days as it’s not cold and I don’t need a heavier moisturizer!

What’s your day looking like?

I’m trying to keep my head above water over here as I have so much to do today it’s pretty crazy! I think I need a little retail therapy 🙂

I teamed up with Walmart recently to pick out some hair, skin, and makeup picks that I’m loving. This is a sponsored post but all the items featured here I picked for myself, used myself, and loved. All opinions are my own.

Let’s see what we got!

Who’s tried Equate Scalp Care Exfoliating & Detoxifying Shampoo? It’s $6.47 and pretty darn brilliant and comparable to another higher-end brand we all know and love. This is a minty fresh exfoliating shampoo that gently breaks build up in your hair and gently exfoliates your scalp to encourage hair growth as well as shinier, cleaner hair! I’ve been using it for a while now and I gotta admit it’s pretty brilliant and such a bargain price too! They have other products in the line as well like the Equate Scalp Care Sulfate Free Therapy Serum, Charcoal & Tea Tree that helps promote a healthier scalp while reducing breakage!

Speaking of hair care available at Walmart let’s just discuss how awesome Hairitage is! I did a prior post about the brand and I just keep falling deeper and deeper in love with it. It smells incredible and it leaves my hair looking mighty fine plus it’s oh so affordable! Hairitage Ahead of the Curl! Hair Cream is my go to! This is such a great way to refine curls, tame frizz, and add nice moisture to locks! And of course, Hairitage Light As A Feather Leave in Conditioner is fantastic to de-tangle locks but I’ll go ahead and admit I may just use this to make my hair smell pretty too!

Since Spring is here (I’m kidding, but lord it feels like Spring the last few days!) I’ve been going a little lighter with makeup! Actually it’s not the warm weather that’s making me go light, I’ve just been a little bit lazy! I’m loving simple makeup lately and lightweight Physicians Formula Organic Wear Silk Foundation Elixir is a great pick up! Gives my skin a nice brighter look! I pair it up with Physicians Formula Organic Wear Dewy Blush Elixir which gives me a nice, natural flush of color! Perfect for the weekends when I don’t want a full face of makeup!

I picked up Kiwi Botanicals Honey Melt Facial Cleanser on a whim a few months ago on Walmart’s website. I’ve always wanted to try Kiwi Botanicals and this just grabbed me. I actually thought it would be more of a balm cleanser but it’s actually the consistency of honey! It creates a really nice lather and does a fine job removing makeup easily. It smells like cherry almonds too!

I’ve also discovered Cleen Skincare at Walmart! I picked up the Cleen Beauty Sleep Mask with Avocado & Hemp Butter which I’m loving. It’s rich and hydrating and makes for a great overnight mask! Along with the sleep mask I also grabbed Cleen Water Gel moisturizer with Grapefruit which I haven’t yet tried but I’m such a suck gel moisturizers even in the Winter because they always wear so well under makeup!

I’d love to hear what new brands you’ve discovered recently at Walmart or if you’ve tried any of the above ones!

About the Muse

Isabella MuseIsabella is just an average everyday geeky girl who doesn’t blend her eyeshadow correctly, wears too much blush, and hopes she never finds her holy grail products because she likes the thrill of the chase so much. Her mission is to bring you super honest reviews on makeup, skincare, fragrance and all things beauty. She’s in no way an expert on the topic and she sure as hell isn’t a super model. But she’s passionate about makeup and is seeking like-minded individuals that like pina coladas, getting caught in the rain, and ones that enjoy spending hundreds of dollars at Sephora without feeling buyer’s remorse.
