Juicy Couture Viva La Juicy Pink Couture Was a Blind Buy and I Love It
Juicy Couture Viva La Juicy Pink Couture Perfume is a nice sweet, fruity gourmand that I picked up with my Sephora Holiday Savings Event discount! This was a blind buy for me but as someone who loves Juicy Couture fragrances and adores anything sweet it was an easy pick up!
This is a very youthful, playful scent that’s an odd launch for Fall/Holiday as it feels like more of a Spring or Summer scent! None the less, the weather may be cold but at least I smell sweet as candy today!
Juicy Couture Viva La Juicy Pink Couture is available 1.7 oz, 3.4 oz or a smaller 0.33 oz travel spray! I probably should have tried the travel spray before committing to the larger size but I don’t regret the purchase in the least! It was a great blind buy!
It comes in a heavy square frosted fuchsia glass bottle with a large gem topper and a fuchsia bow. It lacks the charms that Juicy typically includes with the bow but it does have a gorgeous gold face plate with Juicy’s sigil surrounded by a bow border. Juicy always goes all campy good fun with their bottles! It’s loud, bright, girly, and princess-y and I’m here for it.
This contains notes of Pink Waterlily, Pink Frangipani, Sandalwood, Jasmine Sambac, Praline, Vanilla, and Driftwood. It’s a lot of the same notes the original has but there is some difference here. Most people seem to get a juicy watermelon and strawberry note when they first spray it. I get a burst of strawberry vanilla. It’s sweet and juicy but almost immediately the floral notes twine around the sweetness and soon after vanilla creeps in and adds a delicious creamy note. What’s missing here is the yummy burnt caramel note that the original fragrance has. This is more a bowl of strawberries with a creamy vanilla bouquet poured right on top of it. If you close your eyes this is what the color pink smells like! It’s beautifully creamy, very sweet, and has a fruity fun element!
The initial sweet fruity notes due dry down and off and you’re left with a very creamy praline vanilla with yummy jasmine lurking in the background and just hint of the sweet fruitiness from the initial mist!
This wear is very good for me with excellent linger and throw. I can get a full day out of the fragrance without the notes morphing or disappearing.
