4 stars out of 5

Sol de Janeiro Cheirosa ’71 Body Mist just needs an entire body line! I need shower gel, body lotion, give it to me and scent it like Sol de Janeiro Cheirosa ’71! This is gorgeous! I honestly didn’t think that they could top Brazilian Crush Body Fragrance Mist but they did it. Ok, well, not top, because I’m still very much a fan of the original Cheirosa ’62 fragrance but ’71 is GORGEOUS! I was a little concerned when I first purchased this because Coco Cabana is sort of disappointing and I was expecting them to fail with this too!

But nope, they knocked it right out of the park!

Sol de Janeiro Cheirosa ’71 Body Mist is available in a 3 oz size for $19. Hopefully in the future they make this into a perfume they way they did Brazilian Crush and of course, I wouldn’t be averse to an entire body line such as shower cream, body lotion, etc….!

This is a complete and utter gourmand with a heavy and dominant note of warm caramel. The notes are actually caramelized vanilla with toasted macadamia nut! First mist I get a beautiful caramel note with a minute vanilla swirls around that caramel and gives it more warmth and a bit of sweetness! As the scent dries down that toasty nuttiness comes into play. To me it smells like walking in Getrude Hawk! You know that scent of chocolate, caramel and nuts that hangs in there air of a fancy confectionery shop? That’s exactly what this smells like! It’s divine! You can use this in your hair or on your body!

I’m sad to say the scent is as weak as Brazilian Crush Body Fragrance Mist. It just doesn’t last long on me at all! But I don’t care! It’s so gorgeous I’ll re-buy it happily. I will say if you hose yourself down with it’ll have a bit of a longer wear but you really need to do several mists of it to get that longer window of wear.

All in all, Sol de Janeiro Cheirosa ’71 Body Mist is another winner! It’s too bad it’s not a bit more heavily scented with a longer wear! None the less, it’s delicious!

This is good to hear! I picked this up as well as the juicy couture you recently recommended. I do have the Brazilian Crush scent, and like it, so I’m hopeful.
