This year, I’ve been purchasing a lot more skin and haircare. Skincare has always been such an important part of my beauty life but now more than ever it to be front and center.
Here’s a few items that I love and I’ve purchased this past year or recently.
1. Tarte Maracuja Juicy Lip Trio (3 Full-Size Shades)
Not a surprise at all this set sold out during Sephora’s Holiday Sales Event. I got two of ’em! Love the pretty shine and color they bring to my lips not to mention moisture. Get ’em before they disappear this Holiday season!
2. CosRX Advanced Snail 92 All In One Cream
Ahh snail secretion! Not everyone’s favorite topic of conversation but I’m all about it. I typically haul this lovely cream out when the weather starts getting colder and my skin starts getting tighter. It’s a thicker gel consistency that absorbs easily and leaves skin charged with intense moisture.
3. Briogeo Be Gentle, Be Kind Avocado + Kiwi Mega Moisture Superfood Hair Mask
Briogeo’s Avocado Hair Mask came out a bit ago and I was quick to snap it up! I gotta admit I love this stuff. It’s thick and creamy and works a treat to keep my hair super smooth, well hydrated, and frizz-free! This is one to indulge in if you like taking a bath to unwind as I tend to wet my hair in the shower, apply a thicker layer, wrap my hair in a towel, and sink into the bubble bath and let it do it’s thing while I relax! Def my favorite hair indulgence!
4. Smashbox Cali Kissed Highlight + Blush Palette
Smashbox Cali Kissed Palette tends to go on sale quite often and it’s one of my favorite sale scores. This is just such a fab palette. I’ve literally hit pan on two shades and that’s saying something for me. The bright colors, the silky formula, it’s just a really flattering palette on me! Well worth a haul if you don’t own it already!
5. Cosrx Balancium Comfort Ceramide Cream
I’m sure you’ve read my review on this cream before but it deserves a mention again since it’s on sale at 20% off! I’m all about a good ceramide cream to heal and strengthen my skin barrier not to mention hydrate and smooth my skin!
6. COSRX Two in One Poreless Power Liquid
Another highly interesting product from CosRX if you’re looking for that smooth as glass finish on skin. You’ve probably read my review on this one as well but let me start off by saying this can be a bit drying in the Winter for me. I tend to use it in the Summer! It does have some mattifying properties for me not to mention given time it really creates a very smooth, flawless appearance on skin. It isn’t going to shrink pores but it will make your skin take on a smoother appearance if you have an uneven skin texture!
7. CosRx Advanced Snail 96 Mucin Power Essence
My ride or die! The first thing I start my day off is this little essence. Right out of the shower, skin wet, I’m already slathering on this essence. It leaves my skin smooth and very well hydrated not to mention prepped for my other skincare!
8. CosRX Oil Free Ultra Moisturizing Lotion
My skin is WEIRD! It sucks up moisture at night but in the day if I go too heavy I can look greasy or shiny! This little lotion is my daily moisturizer. This is ideal for both drier and oily skin! It provides light but quite hydrating moisture without being heavy nor greasy or shiny.
9. DHC Deep Cleansing Oil
The OG! I’ve used this for years and to this day it’s still the best cleansing oil around!
10. Paula’s Choice Hyaluronic Acid Booster
Ahh yes! One of Paula’s stars. This is a great booster that can be used alone or added into your moisturizer. It plumps skin, hydrates, and helps draw moisture into the skin!
11. Tartelette Give, Gift & Get Amazonian Clay Eyeshadow Wardrobe
Definitely one of Tarte’s nicest gift sets this year! They need to release the Juicy Palette alone with more shades because I love it. This is really a nice gift or to get yourself as the shades are ones you’ll reach for on the daily!
