Clinique My Happy Perfumes Size Still Sucks But the New Spring 2021 Fragrances Intrigue Me

Clinique My Happy Perfume Sprays ($25) arrive in three new scents for Spring 2021 today including a Cookies and Kisses! I have to throw it out there and say I love My Happy Cocoa & Cashmere Perfume Spray! Actually, the entire My Happy Fragrance Collection is really fun and some of the scents are brilliant! But….

But………………….

The size!

0.5 oz? Why? I can literally go through one of these a week of I used it everyday! It’s just too small!

That being said there are three different Clinique My Happy Perfume Sprays being added to the permanent collection for Spring 2021 bringing the collection up to nine scents. When these originally launched there were six scents so I do wonder if we can expect three more scents soon? Or is it only the three?

First up we have Clinique My Happy Cookies & Kisses Perfume Spray inspired by a day of baking on a lazy Sunday. Includes notes of baked apple, pink pepper, bergamot, chestnut, fir balsam, pimento berry, guaiac wood, peru balsam, ambroxan, and sandalwood!

Next we have Clinique My Happy Indigo Mist Perfume Spray which sounds like a nice calming watery scent with it’s notes of melon, grapefruit, apple, jasmine, rose water, voilet, cashmere, cedarwood, and operanide!

And lastly, Clinique My Happy Baby Bouquet Perfume Spray! A creamy orange flower and musk fragrance with notes of mandarin, spearmint, petitgrain, orange flower, jasmine sambac, muguet, musk, amber tonic, and vetiver!

Clinique My Happy Perfumes for Spring 2021 are available now at Ulta.

About the Muse

Isabella MuseIsabella is just an average everyday geeky girl who doesn’t blend her eyeshadow correctly, wears too much blush, and hopes she never finds her holy grail products because she likes the thrill of the chase so much. Her mission is to bring you super honest reviews on makeup, skincare, fragrance and all things beauty. She’s in no way an expert on the topic and she sure as hell isn’t a super model. That Baby Bouquet sounds AMAZING. That almost sounds blind buy worthy – those notes are so atypical these days.

Separately, does anyone think these companies could make an absolute killing by bringing back discontinued perfumes for the holidays? Like I’d pay good money for a bottle of Clinique Simply every Christmas.

I thought so too! The cookies intrigued me but gotta admit the Baby Bouquet sounds lovely too! YES YES YES! Let’s vote for that!

If you like petitgrain (and haven’t already tried it) Parfums de Nicolai Cap Neroli is glorious. Be forewarned though that I have a LuckyScent sample and a drop is almost radioactively strong. It nearly veers into perfume worn by my Aunt Vicky, but a drop is so so pretty.

But seriously, I think a full spray could be used to fog for termites.

I ordered all three this morning! The size is tiny, I’m definitely with you on that one. I’m running out of cute places to store all of my perfume so at least these won’t take up much space! Excited to get these, I loved the originals/first releases!

I don’t grok the notes in Cookies and Kisses at all. Seems too savory and woodsy. Had to look up ‘operanide’ and I’ll sure be looking for that note again. Google can be the absolute best. Look up operanide and see at least 5 ‘fumes that use it. We are so spoiled by the internet.

So true!! I love the blue sky neroli one (not sure of the exact name??) and I have to use it soo sparingly because it’s too small.

I’m the opposite. I go through fragrance so slowly a sample vial is good for several days. When I buy fragrance, I never buy something larger than a rollerball size which will last me months.

These all sound unique and amazingly complex. I’m really intrigued by them. I also have the purple Cocoa one. It’s such a nice meld of dry non-sugary chocolate and vanilla. Like, perfect blend. I’m excited for these!!!

I had a few too and they were great. I was thinking of getting Lily of the Beach for summer again, but I might try these first. Indigo sounds a great spring scent and sounds a little like Jo Malone Wild Bluebell which is one I like. “Run through spring fields after a rain shower. Bluebells, wet green notes of melon and Violet leaf, Cashmeran and Orris root.” Cookies & Kisses would have been nice for Christmas, but sounds like a nice cold weather scent too. Baby Bouquet sounds calming, like a nice nighttime scent.
