It Cosmetics Hello Results Wrinkle-Reducing Daily Retinol Serum-in-Cream ($69) is a new pressed serum cream that delievers the care of a cream and an anti-aging serum all-in-one formula. You may be familiar with pressed serums if you’re a K-Beauty fan! A lot of It Cosmetics products are actually made in Korea so it’s no wonder they are now doing a pressed serum!

This is a dual retinol serum in cream that contains an encapsulated retinol that apparently can pentrate 15 layers of your skin within a one hour period. It even includes niacinamide to brighten your complexion as it treats fine lines as well as Vitamin B5 and E. The formula also promises to firm skin and act to treat dark spots and hyperpigmentation.

It Cosmetics worked with their own board of plastic surgeons and dermatologists to create the formula and say even sensitive users can use it without the feat or redness, dryness, or flaking that are symptoms from more traditional retinol formulas.

Benefits:

  • Formulated with dual-retinol blend of free and encapsulated retinol that starts to reach at least 15 layers into skin’s surface in just 1 hour!* Plus, tone-evening niacinamide!
  • Infused with caring vitamins E and B5, and soothes and hydrates skin, balancing common effects of retinol usage such as redness, dryness and flaking
  • Clinical results for improvement in loss of firmness and the look of fine lines, wrinkles and dark spots
  • Suitable for daily use from day one, for all skin types, even sensitive

Of course, I instantly looked into the ingredients and I’m sad to say it does contain fragrance and some of the key ingredients that it boasts are a bit lower on the list but I’ll have to give it a try out for myself to see how it performs. It is pretty expensive! I think it could be one of the most expensive moisturizers I’ve seen release from It Cosmetics at $69 for 1.7 oz of product. They do offer it in a 0.5 oz size as well for $25 which comes in a squeeze tube. The larger size comes in a press to release jar which will keep the ingredients stable and fresh!

Aqua/Water/Eau, Glycerin, Butylene Glycol, Niacinamide, Isononyl Isononanoate, Aluminum Starch Octenylsuccinate, Caprylic/Capric Triglyceride, Sodium Polyacrylate, Glycine Soja Oil/Soybean Oil, Polyglyceryl-3 Methylglucose Distearate, Parfum/Fragrance, Dimethicone, Phenoxyethanol, Panthenol, Caprylyl Glycol, Allyl Methacrylates Crosspolymer, Benzyl Salicylate, Retinol, Chlorphenesin, Acrylates/Beheneth-25 Methacrylate Copolymer, Benzyl Alcohol, Trisodium Ethylenediamine Disuccinate, Sodium Hyaluronate, Pentaerythrityl Tetra-Di-T-Butyl Hydroxyhydrocinnamate, Polysorbate 20, Ceramide Np, Tocopherol, Hydroxypalmitoyl Sphinganine, Bht, Propyl Gallate.

I’m pretty sure we are going to see plenty more from It Cosmetics as we head into January as a lot of their Confidence products have been on sale lately so looks like they are clearing the way for new launches! I know their Pillow Lips Solid Serum Lip Gloss that recently launched are a win for me so far!

Ugh – fragrance before retinol in ingredient list – boo! And it’s in the “good” jar packaging – what a waste! 🙁

yeah 🙁 They always have such great marketing but the ingredients are so wishy washy when you look at them!
