Bed Bath and Beyond Closes 200 Stores in 2021 Through 2023

Sadly, we all know Bed Bath and Beyond has been in trouble for a while and will close 200 locations starting February 2021 and through the next two years. The 40 something stores below are the ones slated for closure by the end of February. This is unrelated to the pandemic as Bed Bath and Beyond had plans to close locations for a while now.

I actually like the store a lot but I only ever browse when I go there and end up ordering the item from Amazon and getting it like 50% or more cheaper because their prices aren’t really all that cheap even with the generous 20% off coupons they are constantly throwing our way.

These closures thankfully won’t effect Harmon’s or Christmas Tree Store locations.

For my DH and I, their aisles are too narrow. It is too difficult to navigate if you have a cart and there are other shoppers in the same section as you are, making it a claustrophobic and frustrating shopping experience for us. We stopped going long ago.

my pleasure! I’m sorry 🙁 I hope there’s another one close to you that you can still shop at!

Thank goodness the one closest to us is saved! With coupons our store is actually way less expensive than Amazon. The customer service at the Dublin CA store is also ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️’s
(Their online service is AWFUL!!! I’d much rather go in to the store. )

really? Not so much here! It’s sort of expensive compared to Amazon!

Maybe it’s just the random things I buy…?
Amazon is definitely more convenient to shop and to get deliveries from

Aww that is sad. I like BBB enough I paid $29 for their annual membership. Between my new vacuum and curtains, I’ve more than recouped the cost.

This is a shame. We all know that they are overpriced, and have been for years. You really do need to shop with a coupon or (coupons), which luckily never expire.

One of the best things about a store like B3 is the shopper’s opportunity to actually touch the towels and sheets before purchase. It seems to give you a better idea of what you are buying than online reviews and ratings from strangers (who may have different taste than you, or who may actually be company employees hiding within online anonymity).

Honestly, I have made a bunch of impulse buys at B3. The items (mostly kitchen gadgets) are generally sturdy and hold up well. It just seems the company had problems changing with the times. That said, their sample size travel toiletries section is second to none.
