Yesterday we discussed some of the worst skincare we’ve put on our face but today let’s talk about some of the best skincare I’ve been putting on my face lately! Ok, so when it comes to skincare there’s so damn much I use it’s not even fun so this list is just stuff I’ve been recently loving but my routine is so much more crazy! One day I’ll finally get around to doing a post to share everything I use 🙂 I am always and forever a skincare junkie!

We’ve had a fairly mild winter here which means my skin hasn’t been too crazy dry but I’m still all about moisture so these most of the products featured here are quite moisturizing!

As you know I’m a huge fan of the Heimish Marine Care Eye Cream! I decided to pick up a back up recently since it was on sale and when I did I also grabbed the Heimish Marine Care Rich Cream! I can’t yet review this as I’ve only been using it for a very brief time but so far, I have to say, I love it. This a very rich texture and has an almost moldable texture. It makes my face feel firm yet bouncy at the same time. Between this and the Marine Care Eye Cream I’m in love! I didn’t think there would come a time in my life where I’m all oooo this firms my skin but I sort of am at a stage where I really like that feeling!

Technically it’s not my face but my under eye area is on my face so yeah, I’m totally re-recommendating the eye cream too! I hope if you got it you love it as much as I do! This is total game changer for me and probably one of the most hydrating eye creams I’ve had the pleasure of trying!

Eep…! Now we’re going to go down the rabbit hole of eye creams but I have to say I joys of Belif’s Moisturizing Eye Bomb again! I forgot what I stopped using this but this is definitely one that’s great for drier eyes! It’s creamy but not too thick and it absorbs easily and wears well under concealers especially drier ones as it eases the way for them and makes blending so much more smoother!

Oh screw it! Let’s do more eye cream! Well, eye gel that is! I’m really into eye gels lately! I’m currently testing out the Good Molecules Energizing Eye Kit that includes Caffeine Energizing Hydrogel Eye Patches and and the brand new Yerba Mate Wake Up Eye Gel. I really loved the Hydrating Wake Up Eye Serum that I believe was discontinued so I’m hoping the Yerba Mate will become my new bestest! So far I like it! I use it before my eye cream! I have this thing where I like applying an eye serum or an eye gel before my regular eye cream. I find it provides more moisture and allows my eye cream to sink in better! I’m also really loving InstaNatural Youth Express Eye Gel! It really perks up my tired eyes!

Ok, enough eye stuff 🙂

On to my face!

The Inkey List Hyaluronic Acid Hydrating Serum a mere $8 and so lovely and hydrating! Plumps, hydrates, and helps your skin retain moisture! Totally a score!

Speaking of Hyaluronic Acid we cannot forget the most important step in my routine in the Winter! CosRX’s Hyaluronic Acid Hydra Power Essence! You must try it. It’s probably one of the easiest HA formulas I’ve had the pleasure of working with. Plumps, smooths, and makes skin feel and look amazing!

And don’t forget the CosRX Advanced Snail 96 Mucin Power Essence! Another great Winter staple that brightens up dull, tired skin!

Farmacy has been really doing me good this year! Honey Halo Ultra-Hydrating Ceramide Moisturizer definitely tops my skincare favs list for 2020. I’m sooo glad I finally gave this a go! It’s thick, creamy, absorbs easily, and leaves my skin so smooth and so hydrated! Love this stuff! Also, adore the Honey Grail Ultra-Hydrating Face Oil! Between these two products my skin looks amazing!

What are you putting on your face lately?

Darphin Hydraskin twist-up eye balm stick. Have to try the Peace Out Retinol Eye Stick when I can get my hands on it.

Not new, but I’ve been loving the Drunk Elephant Protini moisturizer on my oily skin this winter! I haven’t had any of the crazy dry patches that usually have popped up by now.

I’ve also been using the Mario Badescu aloe, cucumber, green tea facial spray when I get out of the shower, because I like to take super hot, drying showers, and it smells delicious and refreshes without being sticky.

That CosRX hyaluronic essence sounds amazing though, definitely going to add that to my next Ulta order!

I’m also using the CosRX snail mucin and Farmacy Honey Halo! They totally bail out my skin during the winter, and I like to spritz on some of Glossier’s face mist if I need some more hydration during the day. The addition of Paula’s Choice Vitamin C drops and Drunk Elephant’s A-Passioni round out my skin care most days. Still looking for a perfect eye cream, so I’ll have to put the Heimish one on my to-try list!

I’ve been using Rory Nightly Defense cream that includes tretinoin and niacinamide and my face has become so smooth and it’s been making some of my fine lines vanish. I highly recommend it if you’re looking for anti aging products. During the day I use Silk Naturals Facelift Serum as my vitamin C serum and Olay complete for my SPF since the tretinoin makes my skin sensitive to the sun.

I still like the Biore pore perfect strips for my nose. Though for some that would be in the worst skincare post.

I love Fresh! Their face wash is my favorite by far. My second favorite is FAB’s face wash, which I have my son use as well. So many other cleansers leave me with weird dry patches in my eyebrows, which get crusty and gross. I thought for awhile that it was my moisturizer, until I switched out my Philosophy Purity face wash. I have since moved on from Philosophy, for that and for the microplastics in their scrub I was using. Aside from Fresh, I have several IT Cosmetics and Caudalie skincare products as well. The Caudalie VinoPerfect serum is what I typically use.
