5 stars out of 5

CeraVe Daily Moisturizing Lotion is a great affordable moisturizer for drier skin this Winter. This moisturizer is packed with a blend of glycerin, ceramides, cholesterol, and hyaluronic acid to help drier skin look and feel it’s best.

You know what? Sometimes basic is better! This is simple, no frills, and easy on your skin.

I recently started using a chemical peel and if you know me you know I prefer physical exfoliation over chemical but as I get older I realize that isn’t always the best option! So, I started testing out the Ordinary’s AHA 30% + BHA 2% Peeling Solution and I’m liking it but I like to keep my other skincare a bit more basic when using this peel as it can make my skin feel sensitive and popping different lotions and potions on top of my skin after a peel isn’t a good idea.

Basic moisturizer! CeraVe Daily Moisturizing Lotion is fairly basic! It’s fragrance-free and it packs it all the good things your skin needs to stay hydrated and retain moisture. Sure, it’s basic on some levels but it’s solid with excellent performance and will keep your skin looking younger. I didn’t only start using this because of my peel but I also, feel like in the Winter my skin seems a bit sensitive and of course, drier. This single-handedly keeps my skin very soft, very smooth, and extremely well hydrated without being greasy or adding any shine to my face. It’s a lightweight lotion that absorbs very easily! I feel like I’m applying body lotion on my face when I use this for some reason! Maybe it’s the bottle it comes in!

None the less, if you’re one that uses chemical exfoliators or peels or you just suffer from dry, Winter skin I highly recommend checking out CeraVe Daily Moisturizing Lotion. It’s basic, affordable, but still packed with plenty of things your skin needs to retain moisture and look younger!

Good stuff!

You know what’s even better than this for dry skin? Cerave’s diabetic dry skin cream! really locks in the moisture. Not always as easy to find as the regular, but if you have super dry skin in the winter, check it out.
