Sephora #LipStories Astrology Lipstick are here! 12 brand new shades for Spring 2021 inspired by your astrology sign. Yeah, so, I’m not much of a astrology person please don’t murder me in my sleep but I am however, a MASSIVE fan of the Lipstories Lipstick formula! So cheap, so pigmented, so creamy, totally a win for Sephora. You know how Sephora always has that hit or miss moment with their makeup. Sometimes they have really bad misses! I can think of several items I purchased from their line that were garbage! Other times they do a really big miss! I swear I wish they’d bring that damn BB Compact back it was amazing! That’s the thing about Sephora, I hate getting too attached to their releases as they seem to disappear seasonally! Lipstories however have been around a while now and they seem to do a lot of different LE and seasonal shades.

These are available in matte, metallic, and satin finishes. Do you think your astrology sign will approve of the finish? Ha…!

  • Aquarius (nude with gold and pink pearl)
  • Libra (rosy brown with gold & copper pearl)
  • Sagittarius (metallic berry)

  • Pisces (warm pink coral)
  • Taurus (plummy nude brown)
  • Gemini (coral)
  • Cancer (fuchsia)
  • Virgo (muted coral nude)

  • Aries (matte red orange)
  • Leo (raspberry)
  • Scorpio (oxblood)
  • Capricorn (warm dark brown)

Based off these shades and finishes do they match your astrology sign? Mine? Naaa! Matte and a deep blood red? I prob would have gone with Libra if it wasn’t a metallic.

How about you?

About the Muse

Isabella MuseIsabella is just an average everyday geeky girl who doesn’t blend her eyeshadow correctly, wears too much blush, and hopes she never finds her holy grail products because she likes the thrill of the chase so much. Her mission is to bring you super honest reviews on makeup, skincare, fragrance and all things beauty. She’s in no way an expert on the topic and she sure as hell isn’t a super model. But she’s passionate about makeup and is seeking like-minded individuals that like pina coladas, getting caught in the rain, and ones that enjoy spending hundreds of dollars at Sephora without feeling buyer’s remorse. Lol – not even close. Matte raspberry? Not a chance.. I was thinking *exactly* the same thing as you about the Libra – if it weren’t metallic, I’d be all over it!! Cute tubes – wish the colors were better/more wearable….

Can I say I am just relieved Aquarius is not blue? But they I thought about Hello Sailor and — maybe it should be blue. I don’t know if I can rock a gold and rose metallic but maybe I will try. I have to make an order next month to get my birthday gift anyways. Dang this marketing is working on me.

I sort of feel like brands are over doing green, blue, purple, and other alternative lipstick shades! I haven’t seen brands embracing those shades in a while. Remember when everyone was doing them a two or so years ago? LOL! Don’t fall into the marketing trap ;D

Nope, I donโ€™t think bright refs look good on me, so pass.
BTW the โ€œwhere to buyโ€ link says Ulta but these are Sephora. I know Target is getting Ulta in their stores but I donโ€™t think Sephora is ready to do that!

sorry I’ll correct that. I get up early and sometimes make mistakes ๐Ÿ˜€
