Colourpop Valentine’s Day 2021 The 6th Collection to Launch In A Little Over a Month

Colourpop Valentine’s Day 2021 arrives on Feburary 3rd and it marks the 6th collection that launched since January 1st. So, what have we seen so far? The Animal Crossing Collection, the Lunar Year Launch, the new lip masks, the Wild Child Collection, The Cloud Spun Collection, the Love Struck Quads, there’s more, help me out here! Well, thank you Colourpop! I’m officially overwhelmed and it’s just now February 1st.

Ironically, I’ll bitch and whine and piss and moan when Too Faced, Urban Decay, and Tarte are launching collections too quickly but when Colourpop does it I’m all, “OOOO SO PRETTY!!” Must be the budget beauty friendly prices that do me in. But you can legit just sink your entire retirement into Colourpop! I picture people buying like every single collection! It’s not too farfetched considering how quickly it all sells out. The day of launch is typically 10AM PST and by 11PST most of it is gone. Obviously they are doing something right.

This collection includes three new pink, rose, and red Love Struck Eyeshadow Palettes plus three new heart shaped blushes that look like the old Too Faced Love Flush Blushes! They also have a few Fourth Ray Beauty items, a heart mirror and a highlighter. Oh and a face stamp! Are we still doing face stamps? The palettes and blush are the star of the show though!

Do I need any of this?

Absolutely not.

Do I want some of it?

Yeah. I’m a sucker. Here’s my money Colourpop do what you will with it!

Where to buy

I’ll probably buy the stamp , I have a brand new bright pink palette already but I think the cute little heart stamp will be adorable for Valentine’s Day .

Ugh. I have a ColourPop order that the tracking hasn’t updated since DHL handed it off to USPS near Atlanta. I’m sure their CS is swamped with similar emails but they have not responded and I’ve emailed 3 times since last Wed and once through their website. The only reason I’m not more irritated is the same thing happened to two other packages that stopped updating around Atlanta (BarkBox and Sydney Grace, one handed off by Pitney Bowes to USPS but I think SG was USPS the entire time) and both companies sent me replacements but the original showed up a month later”I felt bad because I know it’s USPS’ fault.

usps is swamped lately 🙁 But still they could have replied! Head to social media and start bugging them there!

      • Agona

Yeah, you’re right…the lack of response is weird. I only have FB, so I can try there. Truth be told, I really don’t use social media. I only keep the FB account to stay in touch with college friends.

I’ve had issues with their CS too. Typically I have to “remind” them to ship stuff. That includes emailing them and saying heyy where’s my stuff. Secondly I don’t like how they treat me like a criminal when something arrives broken. Twice I’ve had stuff arrive broke and they act like I did something wrong!

It seems like ColorPop releases a new collection every other day! I have to say that every palette I’ve gotten from them is top notch so not complaining.

          • Agona

That’s upsetting. I tend to stop shopping from brands if I have issues with their CS. I only ever had to contact Colourpop CS once before and that was summer 2019 and they were good and responsible about replacing 2 broken palettes. I wonder if the quality has gone down in post-COVID times? I’m sure with them shutting down the spring meant they had to lay off some workers. Boo!

I just bought almost the entire Wine and Only Collection at an awesome discount; I’ve been eyeballing the Cloudspun palette because I’m a sucker for pink and spring is around the corner and now this?? Cue the Danny Glover gif from Lethal Weapon “I’m too old for this…”

I just bought the CP Going Cocoanuts and the Taupe palettes and last year I purchased the CP California palette. I think they are ok for the price but I still love my Maybelline City mini palettes in Rooftop Bronze and the Downtown Sunrise better The Maybelline palettes have more blendability. I also love the TF TRIO heart shaped blushes as those are my favorites and they last all day. I have the darker pink one, which they discontinued and have a back up. I wear it everyday! I have the regular TF heart shaped blusher and I like it a lot. It is definitely a long lasting blush. Not sure if CP will be long lasting.
