I Don’t Drink But Hand Sanitizer Got Me Drunk Last Year And The Hangover Cure Was Good Hand Cream
I don’t drink but I’ve gotten plenty of alcohol from hand sanitizer! I mean, if hand sanitizer could get you drunk I’d be full on lushed up because I’ve abused and over used that sh1T like a pro in 2020. I’ve always kept a pocketbac around and I’ve used them normally but when COVID hit. Forget it. I become a chronic user of sanitizer like never before! “Oh god I touched a door knob! Get the sanitizer!” “Oh no I touched cans of soup other people have at the grocery store! Sanitizer!”
The worst thing about hand washing and hand sanitizer is the fact they dry your hands out horribly. Between washing hands, hand sanitizer, and the cold Winter my hands should be like alligator skin but they aren’t thanks to these hand creams!
First off, if you don’t have CeraVe Healing Ointment in your arsenal! Go get some! It’s crazy thick and petroleum-like in texture but it’s brilliant and multitasking! You can use it on your face, legs, and yes, your hands. I apply it on my hands and put on a pair of soft gloves at night and it leaves my hands super soft and smooth!
If you want something lighter for daily wear I’d highly recommend Bioderma Hand and Nail Cream. It has a soft, creamy texture that absorbs quickly and leaves hands very soft! I also ADORE Sol de Janeiro Brazilian Touch Hand Cream! It not only smells like tropical cake melting in your hand but it also actually leaves my hands very soft!
Gold Bond Ultimate Intensive Healing Hand Cream another great pick! This is ideal if your hands are cracked and dry. It really acts to heal dry, cracked hands quickly!
And when all else fails you’ll need to pull out the big guns! OKeeffes Working Hands Cream is the way to go! It’s thick, it’s not very girly, but it gets the job done and it does the job well! This stuff is a miracle! It’ll cure the roughest hands! But you can’t wear it in the day! This one is strictly for nightly use in my opinion!
How are you taking care of your hands right now?
What do you use to keep them soft?
