Are Vibrant and Bold Shades Making a Come Back for Summer/Fall 2021?

Are nudes dead? Not quite if some of the Summer 2021 Collections we seeing popping up at the moment are anything to go by! Too Faced is ready and available for your nude, natural eye look needs with their Teddy Bare It All Eyeshadow Palette that will be available shortly. I see no indication that the nude look is dead but Fall 2021 Fashion Week in Europe tells a different story.

Dior, Chanel, Givenchy, and Vivienne Westwood have all tried to revive a long dead trend of bolder looks. Colorful electric blue and magenta eye looks have appeared on the runway this season in Europe. Most are relying on bolder shades to create an extended wing eye with brighter, bolder shades.

I know many of you miss colorful, bright Summer looks! With the warmer weather ahead maybe we’ll see brands embracing richer shades for Summer or even Fall! It’s been a while since we seen anything colorful from Urban Decay and also, Too Faced.

I could totally go for a neon pink eyeshadow at the moment. Perhaps with a little bright yellow….!

I rarely complain about nudes lately. I think as I got older I completely embraced them which is odd because ten plus years ago my eyeshadow shades of choice were aqua, green, and orange. Nowadays it’s brown, brown, more brown, and brown. My color palette isn’t quite as bright as it used to be!

Would you like to see brighter, bolder shades return?

Count me among the folks who’d welcome a wider range of colors – I like my greens, aquas, and purples. They can be subtle – Colourpop’s “Mandalorian: The Child” palette is a perfect example – but as a pale, washed-out person, I do love me some color!

don’t kill me but the Child felt so washed up to me. I love greens but that palette was a little too pastel-ish for me to enjoy. I like more golden or olive greens! But true! brights/bolds can be subtle and still pop! 😀

I wore my share of blue and green eye shadow years ago so not totally in love with those! But olives and plums would be right up my alley.

I have been craving color in my clothes. In my makeup, not so much. I was just looking at nail polish and nude colors caught and kept my attention. Also,I am really liking purple and pink nails along with lipsticks. But, almost daily I find myself reaching for nude shades for my eyes with opos of peach and gold shimmers. I like what I like lol

LOL they never left my face, I identify as a magic rainbow unicorn. My hair is bright pink, purple, blue, and teal. Neutrals feel wrong on me. Bring on the color!!

Well with as many rainbow and neon palettes that I have , I’m happy . I’ve been going super bold recently . I do want more bright blushes though. Like some nice neon purples for the cheeks.

Especially with masks, I’ve been playing up my eyes with no face products!
