Sol de Janeiro Bom Dia Bright Body Cream Is Available and I’m More Excited Than I Should Be

I’m so sorry but I am way more excited about Sol de Janeiro Bom Dia Bright Body Cream than I should be. Is this my life now? Getting excited about body cream!? My only excuse is that it’s made by Sol de Janeiro and we all know everything they make smells good enough to eat with a spoon!

Bom Dia Bright Body Cream is the latest scent to be added to the Sol De Janeiro family for Spring 2021. This is a warm floral fragrance with notes of black amber plum, vanilla woods, and jasmine! Sounds exotic!

The cream not only hydrates but also contains a fruit complex that acts to reveal smoother, brighter skin. The fruit AHAs are derived from Mango and Banana. This also contains Cupuaçu Butter to deeply hydrate skin.

I have admit I love how the slow pacing of Sol de Janeiro’s scents. They never overwhelm with tons of new scent releases which makes them doing a new product launch extra special.

I just purchased Sol de Janeiro Bom Dia Bright Body Cream at Sephora. I’ll let you know what I think shortly.

    I’m excited about your review of this new product. I like the original Bum Bum Cream. I use it with the perfume spray.

    Sidenote, Tree Hut has a dupe of the original Bum Bum Cream and Body Scrub. Have you seen it? I got it at Ulta. The fragrance is very, very similar. I haven’t tried them yet, but I like Tree Hut’s other products, so I figured I would give these a try.

        The dupe is the “tropical glow”� firming scrub, which is part of their new line of scrubs they released at Ulta. There’s also a matching body cream as well. For me personally, I’m a tree hut enthusiast and I LOVE their scrubs, but this one didn’t quite do it for me.

        I can see where people may think it’s a dupe for the bum bum cream because it has cupuacu butter, guarana extract, and pistachio, but I don’t see it as such. It smells very tropical and faintly of a men’s cologne or even similar to the island bliss scrub. The scent isn’t overpowering and is quite subtle. They also put gold shimmer in it as well.

        For me, I would pair this one with either the coco cabana cream or the new bom dia cream Sol de Janeiro has just released.

        The dupe is the “tropic glow”� scrub with the matching body cream and it’s apart of the new scrubs TreeHut released at Ulta.

        I personally found that it doesn’t smell like the bum bum cream. It’s more reminiscent of a cologne and I didn’t care for it. It does have very similar notes that the bum bum cream contains, but as for a dupe I would have to say no. I love TreeHut scrubs and I’m an enthusiasts because they smell so good and work so well but that one wasn’t giving what it was supposed to.

        The “sunset glow”� collection from bath & body works is almost an exact dupe for the bum bum cream collection! When I smelled it in the store I thought it was the bum bum cream repackaged because of how much it smells exactly like it. I would definitely give that one a try if you like scents that are similar to the bum bum cream.

    Just got my sample and I can’t stop smelling it! It’s a bit more floral but dries down to the delicious plum for me. I could bathe in all their stuff.
