I receive a small commission if you shop through my link.

Morning! I hope everyone had a restful weekend and that Monday is flying by for you! The Sephora Spring Sales Event is still on for Rouge! Save 20% Off using code OMGSPRING. Apparently VIB your offer is already active too for 15% off. I can’t test this but that’s the word on the street. It’s actually supposed to start tomorrow, April 13th but a few people have been saying it works now. I can’t check unfortunately but if it does that’s brilliant.

Don’t forget belk.com has 25% off beauty today only so if you want to haul some items over there if you aren’t Rouge or VIB that’s a great deal. Use code SAVEONBEAUTY.

I thought I’d round up some of my favorite skincare picks today!

Take a look below!

Clinique Moisture Surge Eye 96-Hour Hydro-Filler Concentrate
Clinique’s Moisture Surge Eye always gets a bad rap but I love this stuff. It’s a tackier gel formula which I use before my eye cream! I smooth it on and I’ll do my other skincare while it sinks in! After that I apply my eye cream on top. I’m convinced this stuff is why my concealer looks so good!

Estee Lauder Advanced Night Repair Eye Concentrate Matrix
I don’t care what anyone says this stuff is brilliant. This is also a formula that gets a bad rap but it’s it’s actually really quite hydrating. It comes with a tiny cooling applicator and has a very thin, running consistency. I tend to have to tap it into place for several seconds before it fully absorbs but oh my gosh once it does it creates this hydrating cocoon under my eyes. Not only that but when I wake up in the morning my eyes are so much more hydrated!

Bobbi Brown Vitamin Enriched Eye Base
Totally a favorite of mine! I love Face Base! It’s my ride or die so when Bobbi Brown released an eye version I didn’t hesitate grabbing it! This stuff is gold! It’s an excellent prep for concealer and provides a ton of moisture. You can use in conjunction with your favorite eye cream or even as your eye cream if you want. I personally apply my eye cream first and follow up with this before I apply my makeup and concealer.

Belif Moisturizing Eye Bomb
I have this odd love hate relationship with Eye Bomb. I used to not like it for some reason but I somehow ended up at the bottom of a pot once day and realized I missed it and purchased another one. Now it’s part of my eye cream wardrobe. It’s a creamy gel that provides excellent hydration and absorbs very easily under eyes. This is one I use in the daily for all day hydration!

Farmacy Green Clean Makeup Removing Cleansing Balm
I make no excuses for my absolute love of Farmacy’s Cleansing Balm! It’s such a soft sorbet texture that’s not as waxy and firm as some cleansing balms. It removes makeup easily and doesn’t strip my skin! Truly a great cleanser!

Charlotte Tilbury Charlotte’s Magic Night Cream
It’s not for everyone but Magic Night Cream is my very favorite product. This is thick almost vaseline-like in consistency and it leaves my skin so crazy smooth and hydrated. I love it. I do not like the original Magic Cream but the Magic Night Cream? Divine! Full disclosure it does have a heavy fragrance!

Charlotte Tilbury Multi-Miracle Glow Cleansing Balm
Another miracle! This is actually a cleanser as well as a balm but I’ve never actually used it to clean my face. I do however, use it as an overnight mask! Again, full disclosure, it has a heavy fragrance, but it’s soooo hydrating and literally makes my skin glow in the morning!

Charlotte Tilbury Magic Eye Rescue Cream
Since we’re on a CT kick we can’t forget her super moisturizing eye rescue cream! Another of my ride or die eye creams that’s incredibly thick but quickly absorbing that leaves my eyes super duper moist! If the eye cream intrigues you there is a gift set available that contains the eye cream, the original magic cream. and the night cream at a better price!

Shiseido WASO: Clear Mega-Hydrating Moisturizer
Sad fact: this contains alcohol! But I admit I still use it. EEP! I actually love this stuff in the Summer. It’s a thicker gel moisturizer that leaves my skin so incredibly silky smooth. I just wish it didn’t contain alcohol!

It Cosmetics Confidence in a Gel Lotion
Summer is around the corner and Confidence in a Gel Lotion is a perfect moisturizer for dry skin on a warm, hot day. This lightweight gel absorbs easily and leaves skin moist but not greasy or shiny! Ironically most of the Confidence Skincare line I hate but this gel lotion gets a Muse Approval!

Clinique Dramatically Different Hydrating Jelly
Speaking of lightweight moisturizers Clinique’s Hydrating Jelly is another great pick for Summer wear. This is a very lightweight jelly that absorbs instantly and hydrates skin with light moisture that’s ideal for hot Summer days!

Farmacy Honey Halo Ultra-Hydrating Ceramide Moisturizer
Definitely my number one for smooth, well hydrated, healthy, glowing skin!

Dr Dennis Ferulic Acid + Retinol Brightening Solution
If you want brighter skin this is the way to get it. I used this for years and swore by it! It really brightens up your entire complexion.

The Inkey List Hyaluronic Acid Hydrating Serum
If you simply hate the way HA makes you feel dry if you don’t apply it on damp skin this HA serum is for you! It’s best to apply HA on damp skin but when that isn’t an option (like when you apply retinol as the first step in your routine) you can use this little serum to not only get the benefits of a good HA but also, it won’t make you feel dry after use!

Youth to the People Dream Eye Cream with Goji Stem Cell and Ceramides
Do I sound like a broken record yet? Sorry but Youth to the People killed it with this formula. Super thick, creamy, yet easy to absorb this stuff is hydrating nectar for dry eyes!

Biossance 100% Sugarcane Squalane Oil
I am a firm believer wearing face oil in the day is not it. The exception is Biossance 100% Sugarcane Squalane Oil! This stuff is brilliant as a daily face oil! It’s very lightweight, quick to absorb, and doesn’t leave me greasy so makeup application is smooth and flawless.

Biossance Squalane + Peptide Eye Gel
This is my go to for use under my eye cream. It’s the first step in my AM ritual followed up with eye cream to create a smooth, well hydrated area for my concealer!

Biossance Squalane + Marine Algae Eye Cream
A perfect companion to the peptide eye gel. This squalane packed eye cream is lightweight and nicely hydrating. It restores moisture to dry under eyes with the first use!

Glow Recipe Banana Soufflé Moisture Cream
Not a lover of Bananas? This isn’t for you but if you don’t mind the scent of banana pudding this moisturizer may be a haul! This is a fantastic little moisturizer that starts out life a light cream but burst into more of a water gel upon contact with skin. It provides intense moisture to skin and wears well under makeup!

Farmacy Filling Good Hyaluronic Acid Plumping Serum
I just started using this recently and so far it’s a love. Full disclosure it does have a heavy raw honey scent but it does a great job plumping skin while helping to retain moisture!

About the Muse

Isabella MuseIsabella is just an average everyday geeky girl who doesn’t blend her eyeshadow correctly, wears too much blush, and hopes she never finds her holy grail products because she likes the thrill of the chase so much. Her mission is to bring you super honest reviews on makeup, skincare, fragrance and all things beauty. She’s in no way an expert on the topic and she sure as hell isn’t a super model. But she’s passionate about makeup and is seeking like-minded individuals that like pina coladas, getting caught in the rain, and ones that enjoy spending hundreds of dollars at Sephora without feeling buyer’s remorse. One of the saddest things about big S now is that all their offerings can be duplicated elsewhere. Often within the same shopping center. I miss when Sephora actually had some exclusive products. You’re always great about alternatives, pretty important as S is on so many people’s SL.
