4 stars out of 5

Milani Peach Ludicrous Lip Gloss in Just Peachy is a new, permanent shade that launched with the Milani Skin Fresh Collection a few weeks ago. As you may know I’ve been reviewing a lot of the new Skin Fresh Collection and the Milani Peach Of Me Baked Blush that was part of this collection did so disappoint as it was just a re-packaged shade! I’m mentioning this because I’m relieved that the Milani Just Peachy Ludicrous Lipgloss is a brand new shade. Wahoooo!

One weird thing is Ludicrous Lipgloss still very much apart of the Milani Collection at drugstores but it isn’t readily available on their website anymore. However, the shades from the Skin Fresh Collection (three in total) are all available on their website. I thought it was weird they don’t carry the core collection but do have these three new shades. I only purchased one but there’s a Cherry and a Blueberry one as well!

Milani Peach Ludicrous Lipgloss in Just Peachy comes housed in a larger barrel with a sponge paddle applicator. The cap is white and decorated with cute little peaches. The gloss is $9 and holds 0.16 oz of gloss. The price is equivalent with the original Ludicrous Lip Gloss range so you aren’t paying more for the special packaging. I love peaches, I love the peach makeup theme, it’s something that’s never gotten old for me which is why I purchased this!

Sadly, the shade isn’t peach. It’s actually an orange-y coral with a fine golden sheen. It’s pretty but I do wish it more of a peach shade! That being said it’s still lovely.

This is not one for anyone that dislikes thicker, stickier glosses. This is very thick and extremely pigmented. What you see in the barrel is exactly what you’ll get on lips. The color payoff is phenomenal. But as I said it is quite thick and a bit sticky but it does wear long and strong thanks to that tack and will stick around for five or so hours without feathering or migrating. It has a high-shine finish and a fruity flavor (not peach, just fruity). The application is very smooth and the finish hugs lips in color without it seeping into my natural lip lines. It does feel nicely moisturizing on my drier lips.

I’m not big on the color to be honest which made me deduct a star but all in all, Milani Peach Ludicrous Lipgloss is quite lovely. Excellent pigmentation, very comfortable and long wear (even though it is sticky), and quite moisturizing! Glad I picked this up! I might love the color more as Summer approaches as this is bright and bold for the warm weather!
