Moschino Toy 2 Bubble Gum Eau de Toilette Spray is a new sweet, fruity fragrance that just launched on macys.com and it’s on sale! I’m over the moon about this as I didn’t want to purchase it directly from Moschino because I was being cheap about shipping. I love the original Toy and I do so wish they’d bring it back! I’m not a big, big fan of Toy 2 but I have a feeling Toy 2 Bubble Gum is totally going to be my jam.

This has top notes of candied citrus notes including orange and lemon with middle notes of bubble gum, cinnamon, blueberry, gigner, rose, peach, and peach blossom. The bottom notes get a little more complicated with woodiness, silky musk, and ambrofix. I’m positive the opening on this is going to be sugary sweet but I’m very curious how it’ll dry down!

Moschino describes it as a floral, fruity, oriental Bubble Gum fragrance. I mean, does that not sound divine? I hope it doesn’t have the clean touch that Toy 2 had. Toy 2 reminded me of a fancy floral shampoo for some reason which I wasn’t into. Some people describe it as a fruity floral but to me it smelled like a fresher, cleaner floral. I don’t mind floral scents or clean ones for that matter but Toy 2 just seemed a let down after the warm of yumminess of the original Toy fragrance that launched years ago in the Teddy Bear packaging (literally it came in a Teddy Bear with a removable head! Not the bottle you see now but an actually stuffed bear! Do you expected anything less from Moschino?).

It’s available in a 3.4 oz bottle and $87 but after code FRIEND you can grab it at $74. I just blind purchased a bottle. Macy’s has a great return policy so if I hate it I can just pop back to the store with it but I think I’m going to love it.

Moschino Toy 2 Bubble Gum is available now.

Are you daring enough to try it?

Hmm and hmm. I have one of the toys in a small size, it is fresh floral with a whiff of apple to start and then straight to clean shampoo scent, maybe toy 2. I wear it to the grocery store or the pool haha. Toy 3 doesn’t sound for me either but I have a soft spot for moschino forever since “I love love” was my first “real” “fragrance,” at maybe 17? The fragrantica reviews for that one tell me I am not alone in that. Gateway drug to perfume world.

Oh I’m so glad I’m not alone as I totally get the clean shampoo notes from Toy 2 original. I’m so glad I never blind purchased it because it sort of disappointed me. Everyone always raves it as a fruity floral but all I get is shampoo! Ha…! I love love is a cool scent though even know! It aged well! ;-D
