5 stars out of 5

Pat Mcgrath Divine Mink EYEdols Eyeshadow is one of those eyeshadows that creates a smoky eye in a few swipes. It’s a color I’ll sing praises to daily. I sadly paid full price for it but none the less it’s still very much worth every penny I paid for it. You can snag it or any of the EYEdols Eyeshadows for $12.50 on patmcgrath.com (plus all regularly priced items are 25% off! Discount taken at checkout!).

Don’t get me wrong here! I do so love all of Pat’s eyeshadow palettes! She does some seriously amazing eyeshadow palettes without a doubt but the single eyeshadows are really quite lovely and at this price well worth a haul!

Pat McGrath Divine Mink Eyeshadow (0.04 oz.) comes in a simple, lightweight round compact with a clear window. It’s a deep, rich taupe-y charcoal gray with a metallic finish. I struggle creating a more traditional smoky eye lately as black seems to accentuate my puffy eyes and finer lines. I tend to migrate to taupes or grays for a less traditional smoky eye. They seem to work better for me as well without accenting any of my undereye drama. This shade is one such color that works fabulously. I really don’t have to add much to it either. A little black liner on my waterline a few swipes of this on my eye and maybe a bit of a bone or cream shade on the higher brow area and I’m good to go.

The color is soft, creamy and velvety and applies easily and blends out beautifully. A little goes a long way as the color is heavily pigmented. Start out slow and build as needed! You really don’t need a lot of this shade to do your entire eye. It wears incredibly well on me and didn’t crease nor fade nor lose intensity from the time of application (around 6ish AM to around 8PM) to the time of removal without any eyeshadow primer or base under it.

It’s definitely one of those colors that creates a sexy, sultry, mysterious eye look and totally worth picking up at this price. It seems they are phasing out the EYEdols so now is a good time as any to grab the ones you like at the $12 price!

This reminds me of a Chanel Illusion d’Ombres color. Can’t remember the name but it dried out so this may be a better option.
