5 stars out of 5

My review of Youth to the People Dream Eye Cream with Goji Stem Cell and Ceramides ($48) is nearly a year in the works. I picked up this eye cream way back when it originally launched and I’m now on my second jar and can honestly say it’s the one eye cream you really need right now if you have dry eyes.

With the upcoming Sephora Spring Sales Event on the horizon that starts Friday now is a good time as any to grab it at 20% off if you’re Rouge! Youth to the People Dream Eye Cream with Goji Stem Cell and Ceramides contains some fantastic moisturizing ingredients like squalane and shea butter. It was created to plump the eye area as you sleep while forming and hydrating the skin around your eyes.

I do wish they came in a tube and I do wish it contains more Hyaluronic Acid and Ceramides. I also wish it didn’t contain orange peel extract. But I’m willing to overlook these flaws because it’s one of those rare eye creams I’ve come used that actually makes my eyes look wonderful. The main hydrating ingreidents in this formula is shea butter as well as squalane. It also contains Vitamin C but in all my time using it I wouldn’t say that helped brighten my eye area up especially since that particular ingredient along with the HA and ceramide is very low on the list.

This is a very thick, creamy texture that contains no fragrance. It was created for nightly use but I admit I have used it in the day. Although thick it still manages to absorb very easily and leaves my skin super hydrated. I love how instantly my eyes feel quenched in rich moisture. It also acts as a filler of sorts as my finer looks seem to disappear when I apply this. It wears extremely well under concealer as well making it an ideal pick for anyone that uses concealer such as Tarte Shape Tape that runs on the drier side of the fence.

Some of the reviews I read said it was irritating and caused stinging. I haven’t experienced a single issue using it. No sting, no irritation, just fantastic moisture. I wouldn’t say in the year I’ve used it that my fine lines have disappeared I would say it hydrates incredibly well and when I do wear it it lessens the look of my finer lines and seems to smooth and plump them out. The effect is temporary though.

I would mainly recommend this if you have incredibly dry eyes. The formula is wonderful hydrating and a perfect pick for those that suffer from drier eyes.

Youth to the people Dream Eye Cream with Goji Stem Cell and Ceramides gets a Muse Approval.

It’s available now at Sephora!

Where to buy

Youth to the People

Youth to the People Dream Eye Cream with Goji Stem Cell and Ceramides is a $48 eye cream that’s 0.5 oz in size. The ingredients are over hyped in this formula a fair bit but it’s still an beautifully moisturizing formula that’s ideal for drier eyes. Some of the main items it promotes as included in the ingredients such as Vitamin C, HA, and Ceramides are really low on the list. Again, that seems to matter little as it’s still a very moisturizing formula. It’s thick, creamy, and quick to absorb. I felt like when I used it my finer lines seemed to get filled in and plumped up giving my eye area a smoother appearance. Although this is recommended for nightly used I thought it worked wonderfully in the day as well! It provides excellent lasting moisture. Sadly, I wouldn’t say it actually eliminated or treated my finer lines but it did provide moisture that made them look better!

Water/Aqua/Eau, Dicaprylyl Carbonate, Glycerin, Cetearyl Alcohol, Butyrospermum Parkii (Shea) Butter, Squalane, Glyceryl Stearate, Avena Sativa (Oat) Bran Extract, Citrus Aurantium Dulcis (Orange) Peel Extract, Moringa Oleifera Seed Oil, Opuntia Ficus-Indica (Prickly Pear) Seed Oil, Lycium Barbarum (Goji) Callus Culture Extract, Gardenia Jasminoides (Gardenia) Fruit Extract, Sodium Stearoyl Glutamate, Carbomer, Cetearyl Glucoside, Isomalt, Sodium Benzoate, Tetrahexyldecyl Ascorbate (Vitamin C), Tocopheryl Acetate, Tetrasodium Glutamate Diacetate, Betaine, Ceramide NP, Phospholipids, Sodium Hyaluronate, Maltodextrin, Sodium Hydroxide, Phenoxyethanol.

Pros

  • Super hydrating.
  • Works well under concealer should you wear it in the day.
  • Seems to fill and plump fine lines giving the appearance of a smoother eye area.

Cons

  • Sadly, a bit over hyped with the ingredients as many of the items it uses in the marketing are very low on the list!

I’ve been using this one since it came out. Love, Love, Love it. I feel like it has brightened my under eye area too. Nothing has ever made a dent in my dark circles, but this did.

I dont remember which skincare guru said it. Maybe Hyram? But someone mentioned that the ingredients were almost the same as their big yellow tub face mask and that you could use that for more bang for your buck.
